Could be better, could be worse!

This is our local pub and so we frequent it on a weekly basis. The ambiance is very nice and relaxing although the outdoor lighting could be improved over some tables. We really like the staff here. They have shown patience and offer genuine smiles and greetings (unlike many other pubs nearby... read more

The food and service here was excellent, massive choice of dishes along with massive portion sizes. There is a salad or veg bar which I didnt get to because I had more than enough on my plate, If I had to have a down side it would be the selection of beers on tap, bit limited, but still worth the... We dropped in for lunch on a Thursday. The wine list is limited and way over priced, this is a pub with a drive through, so get your act together. $55 for a bottle of local Sav Blanc is robbery. We had the beef parmy special. It came out and was the smallest serving I have seen in a pub... More

over priced rubbish, lousy rude service, particularly by an older man. Salad bar disgraceful mess Meals came out all at different times, cold and very poorly presented. Needs some serious management. Number of diners present indicated it has problems

Don't go to The Tower Hotel unless your looking to slum it! Staff are indifferent, rude, untrained and very, very unprofessional. When a staff member (female) made a mistake in giving patron too much money for coin exchange, this is how she handled it-very loudly- "Oih, oih sailor, give it back, give it back now, you've taken too much money!... It was supposed to be a celebration of my mothers 89th birthday but the food was terrible. My beef schnitzel Burnt it tasted off, the beef was wafer thin, you would expect better from a fish and chip shop. My wife ordered the meals and mine came out half an hour later. In fact the service from go to finish... More

Stopped in after riding loops of Norton summit. Service was friendly but the food was not quite what we were after.

Have been here about three times now as was reccomended by friends who raved about the salad bar and value of meals. As a nut allergy sufferer the salad bar is un-suitable for me as many of the salads contain nuts and were next to the ones I could have eaten, apart from the fact that they had had the... More

After waiting 35 minutes for the daily special beef and mushroom pie with mashed potato we enquired about our meal. The meal then arrived within 5 minutes. The pie had obviously been blasted with heat to cook the top the potato was cold. We returned the potato to be reheated and are still waiting for this. We asked to see... More

Have now eaten here several times and will really struggle to go back. Latest dish was the "Wokstar stir fry", and boy was it bad. Beef strips seemed broiled, not fried, with globs of fat on them. So-called "crispy" vegetables were limp, noodles obviously dry ones out of a packet. Almost $20 for the privilege.
