My major issue is with the hotels management who appear to not knwo how to deal with the geenral public, which one would expect given the business they are in. The food was below par and service awful. Do yourself a favoru and dont bother

This pleasant and refurbished piece of Port Adelaide is ideal for a quiet drink and an excellent meal. They brew their own beers and ales on site and I particularly recommend their ginger beer (Jinga). You won't regret a visit to this pub.
Top service, fine food, wonderful location and atmosphere, we would go back anytime.
The (own brew) Ginga Beer is fabulous (and on tap)
Omg what was I thinking? This place is a disgusting hole!!! If Travelling don't go here! Visit the Birkenstock Hotel overlooking the water instead! We visited the port dock on a Sunday & was disgusted by the owners behavior. She was drinking and acting obnoxiously. Really quite offensive, loud and immature. We found out she was the owner as we...

Horrible beer quality - and the beer is not really brew locally its extract brewed so don't be fooled.
Worst service ever saw one lady wait 10mins while a bar person was chatting up guys at the other end.
Food is not worth it at all.
Lighthouse Hotel which also brew their own beer around the corner is way better...

We came in on the Thursday $10 schnitzel night, the staff were upfront about special offers, informative, friendly & made a great effort to make us feel comfortable! The schnitzels were generous & tasty! I would like to see the salad garnish consist of maybe cherry tomatoes & Spanish onion along with the capsicum, cucumber & lettuce! $10 beer tasting...

Comfortable chairs in the rear section and no blaring music. Soft furnishings absorb the sound and permit normal conversation. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Interacted with several of the staff and they were all extremely helpful and friendly.
The service was exceedingly slow. Most of the meals from our table were overcooked. One person took her meal of prawns back because they were so overcooked they couldn't be eaten. The waitress later commented that she had tried one of the prawns on the plate and that it was ok!!! When we asked for the dessert to be brought...

Port Adelaide is a 20-minute drive from downtown Adelaide, but worth it. The Port Dock Brewery has a tasting paddle of all six of their homemade beers (they were out of their cider so I could try the other five, then choose one of them for a sixth taste). We had a sampler platter for lunch that included without a...
