Port Adelaide is a 20-minute drive from downtown Adelaide, but worth it. The Port Dock Brewery has a tasting paddle of all six of their homemade beers (they were out of their cider so I could try the other five, then choose one of them for a sixth taste). Friends told us about this place and said it was a must see. We walked in the door on a cold wet afternoon and a lady named Lynn took pity on our somewhat bedraggled condition and sat us down by the open fire and made us a hot chocolate.
