Have dined here many times over the years & I can honestly say they have improved over that time. When we haven't booked one of the fine dining restaurants, Manta Ray Café has been our reliable back up..... always a relaxing atmosphere watching over the marina & tasty food. Pretty reasonable on the wallet & excellent service........kids are served first... More

By far the worst place we have eaten at on Hamilton Island. The service appears to be hit and miss. The food is just tasteless and lacking any seasoning, the pizzas have awfully thick bases and doughy. Even the kids buffet is yuk (according to my kids). Its not cheap if you cant eat it! We wont eat here again.... More

We arrived in the beautiful island expecting to have a relaxing holiday and expecting to pay the price given we were a captive audience! However do not take your guests for granted, that's how we felt! Not only was our table not cleaned, we had to waive our male waiter for his attention! We waited patiently and finally took our... Escaping the high prices of the hotel is a must at some point. This spot is right in the heart of the Marina and you can find a nice table outside for lunch or coffee if you want to chill and peoplewatch. The food was good and observing the bustle at the heart of the Marina is a nice plan... More

Just back from a week on Hamilton Island. Knew before we left that the Manta Ray is closed and will be for a while yet - and says so on their website. Wonder if recent reviews got some sort of take away??

Another very good restaurant on the island. Everything is a little more expensive than on the mainland, but not too bad. Great atmosphere and the views of the Harbour are awesome. Thanks!

My husband and I had cocktails and dinner here after a big day of tours. It was the perfect was to relax and unwind watching the sun go down over the marina. The staff were good and the cocktails were yummy. The pizza was massive so we shared one and were full afterwards. Thanks for a nice dinner guys!

Our first visit was for a late lunch. The salads we had were fresh and the portions good. We sat out on the deck and the scenery was beautiful. We went there for dinner one night and had a few different pizzas. They all had great flavour. Service was fast and efficient.

Lovely food, friendly staff, reasonably priced, lovely view of the marina and very friendly cockatoos who like to sneak your sugar from your coffee cups
