Nicely presented restaurant but the foods were disappointing. Most dishes are dull, rather typical of the suburban Indian restaurant in Australia. Prices are reasonable and services good.

this restaurant really satisfies your curry cravings, and the best part is it can all be made with mild spices. the butter chicken is worth a try as the tastes really good. beef masala was great as well. the atmosphere was quiet and the outdoor seating was the best part of the experience with the view of the Townsville harbour.... I am not a fan of indian food, but this restaurant serves the most wonderful curries that make you want to gorge yourself (and one of our crew certainly did). Friendly service, food was quick and well presented. Will definitely be going back for more.

We had chicken tikka masala and beef vindaloo, papadums and garlic naan. We got takeaway. The chicken was plain and oily (more than ud normally expect). The vindaloo was better but nothing to rave about. The naan was yucky we didn't finish one piece. I still ate most of the dish because I was hungry and it wasn't awful, but... More

As we a local Indian with very special food I was ready to be disappointed but as it was nearly next door to my accommodation I took a punt. Well the food was great and the service and help with my Takeaways was efficient and friendly. They have both indoor and outdoor covered tables - the outdoor looking to the... More

I've been to Townsville a few times and have at last found THE place to enjoy excellent food there. We were a group of 5 and enjoyed the starter platter very much. The highlight of the starters would have to be the Tandoori chicken. Beautifully juicy chicken pieces with just the right amount of spice rub. I had the Beef... More

I love Indian food and its difficult to find a good restaurant that can cook it nicely. My husband and I have been here several times and the quality has been consistently good. The naan bread is soft, flaky and buttery (it must be tandoor cooked.) I liked the variety of food on offer and it has good vegetarian options.... More

We dropped in and were welcomed as if we had a booking. Its a basic restaurant with loads of tables. We had the samosas with tamarind chutney, the chickpea and potato curry and a chicken tikka masala with rice and naan. All the items were tasty, not greasy and just the right heat (it was nice to be asked what... More

Loved the food and service was better and expected. Waiter was above the average by a long way. Tryed this place by chance after driving past, and will definately be coming back whenever the opportunity goes by.

Really disappointing meal, I can't believe this place rates highly. Expensive for Indian food and everything was a bit off. Naan and rice were a little soggy. Both curry and appetizer were super sweet and the curry was watery. My curry was mild instead of medium and my GF's was medium instead of mild. Service was quick, but that's the... More
