In Townsville for the weekend and as the hotel we were staying at didn't have a restaurant we were on the hunt for somewhere that was close by for breakfast, This small cafe/restaurant wasn't in the main Palmer street strip. It was packed all the staff were young girls and they handled the crowd very well, we were seated quickly... More

Betty blues is a great place for breakfast and you won't be needing lunch after your visit. Good service and great meals are why we have become return customer's for over 2 years now. It can get busy on weekend's and its a little squishy inside when full but that's to be expected when a place is doing a good... More

Townsville is dead boring. But this little bakery/breakfast spot was the highlight of our short stay. Excellent banana bread, tasty egg dishes, fresh juice and smoothies, and plenty of good coffee. Exactly the type of breakfast that we were hoping to get.

A friend recommended this cafe as I had never heard of it. Tucked away behind the facade of a very plain office block type shop-front reminiscent of a very sterile public service office of the 1970's is this rather unique cafe. The surprise one gets when finding that a busy cafe exists behind the doors of this place on a... More

I'm a huge breakfast person and this place is the best in Townsville!! Amazing combinations, huge serves. Friendly staff. Very family friendly too. It's up for sale so be quick, seriously won't do better in townsville. I'm from Melbourne so have had a lot to compare it to. I haven't tried the coffee though, coz I take my own espresso... More

Food was quite good but wait on food and mediocre service dampened experience a bit. Bit noisy and squishy inside. Would perhaps be a better dining experience at a quieter time.

Coffee is good and the range of breakfast choices is broad. The stuff you won't get at home or from the formula type coffee shops. Understand that you are sat down and given menus then need to get up and order. I was a bit slow on uptake but service of food was very prompt. Coffee did not come until... More

We went based on reviews and definately were not disappointed. We made a point of getting there early for breakfast, and were glad we did because shortly after people were queuing outside. The food was a little different, great blackboard specials and the overall ambiance was contemporary and comfortable. Service was fast and friendly, the food came quickly and the... More
