Good brekkie

Decent brekkie, make sure you're hungry before you eat here the servings are quite big, good value based on the portion sizes / food quality

A quaint little cafe with a fairly diverse menu. Expensive in some respects take your appetite the portions are generous - maybe not always healthy! It's not open every day of the week so it can be difficult to get a table. This is picture of my waffles with macadamia icecream and honeycomb crumble.

Breakfast should be light and most importantly healthy. The food portions are gigantic and everything is soaked in butter or oil. It was hard for me to eat anymore than half the serve. I left feeling so full. I don't think it was anything special. I also think it;s expensive.

Went here for breakfast recently and ordered the breaky fritters. Fairly priced for the enormous meal you get! The fritters were a little doughy but still super yummy. The sauce was to die for but there wasn't enough of it. Would definitely go back here and try the waffles for an ultimate sin! Everyone's food looked amazing!

After hearing many rave reviews about this place we decided to give it a go. Their specials all looked quite good and I decided to go with the honeycomb waffles as I was feeling like a sweet breakfast. What emerged from the kitchen was none other than a tower of diabetes. The waffles tasted old and were soggy and soaked... More

Be warned - the serves are huge so make sure you are hungry if going here. We were very pleased with our choice of dishes. My husband has scrambled eggs and sausages (on the specials board) and I had sweet pea. Delicious and the food was all fresh! The freshly squeezed juices were fantastic. I went here with my wife and a a friend. We got in at about 9 am on a Saturday morning and got the last free table. So if you are going, go early. I had eggs benedict, and my wife had scrambled eggs on toast. It was ok, but not up there with the best in Townsville. The food... More

About 5 years ago Betty Blue was the best place to go for breakfast in Townsville. Having been back recently I have no idea what happened to such a great place. I'll start with two good points: it's right in the middle of the city and the coffee is pretty good. But that's where the good stuff ends. The breakfast... More

I loved this cafe before it changed owners and I hoped the same high standards of mouth watering dishes would remain but woefully this is not the case I even went back a third time just in case they had two bad days the last two visits I made ,but no my fav dishes were stuffed with huge amounts of... I have always enjoyed the food for this establishment, the coffee needs a bit of work and the staff need to learnt to smile and treat the patrons with a little more respect. But besides below par customer service I have always really enjoyed eating here.
