Extravagant Food, Awesome concept!

Went here for breakfast recently and ordered the breaky fritters. Fairly priced for the enormous meal you get! The fritters were a little doughy but still super yummy. The sauce was to die for but there wasn't enough of it. Would definitely go back here and try the waffles for an ultimate sin... read more

After hearing many rave reviews about this place we decided to give it a go. Their specials all looked quite good and I decided to go with the honeycomb waffles as I was feeling like a sweet breakfast. What emerged from the kitchen was none other than a tower of diabetes. The waffles tasted old and were soggy and soaked... More

Be warned - the serves are huge so make sure you are hungry if going here. We were very pleased with our choice of dishes. My husband has scrambled eggs and sausages (on the specials board) and I had sweet pea. Delicious and the food was all fresh! The freshly squeezed juices were fantastic. I went here with my wife and a a friend. We got in at about 9 am on a Saturday morning and got the last free table. So if you are going, go early. I had eggs benedict, and my wife had scrambled eggs on toast. It was ok, but not up there with the best in Townsville. The food... More

About 5 years ago Betty Blue was the best place to go for breakfast in Townsville. Having been back recently I have no idea what happened to such a great place. I'll start with two good points: it's right in the middle of the city and the coffee is pretty good. But that's where the good stuff ends. The breakfast... More

I loved this cafe before it changed owners and I hoped the same high standards of mouth watering dishes would remain but woefully this is not the case I even went back a third time just in case they had two bad days the last two visits I made ,but no my fav dishes were stuffed with huge amounts of... I have always enjoyed the food for this establishment, the coffee needs a bit of work and the staff need to learnt to smile and treat the patrons with a little more respect. But besides below par customer service I have always really enjoyed eating here.

Beautiful thick doorstop bread pieces, great food combinations (I now make at home their spanakopita omelette w/ spinach, feta and a lovely beetroot dip), they garnish everything with lovely bean sprouts, and if you don't want healthy? they have every decadent option your heart could desire. Great deal for what you get...their breakfasts will feed you for a couple meals.... More

I went here for breakfast on a sunday. We were quoted a 10-20 min wait on a table... Which we did not mind, as we know it can get extremely busy. Finally got a table and sat down at 9:40 we then ordered drinks and breakfast at 9:50. There was only 3 of us, so not a big order. We... More

One of our favourite breakfast spots in Tville! Cool and funky decor. Very child-friendly. The coffee is ALWAYS delicious. Food is super tasty and the service is friendly. Only negative would have to be the portion sizing.... I looked around the restaurant and noticed lots of leftovers on people's plates which is a bit of a shame as I hate... More
