I feel that the bad reports have been by nearby Viet Restaurants

We have eaten at most of the Viet Restaurants on the north end of the coast and find that the New Saigon beats them all. My favorite meal there is strangely not Vietnamese but the Thai Red Curry. What a taste. I normally find Thai food a bit weak but this curry has an amazing taste. Have a go. As... read more

My wife and I have been here a few times now as the food is not bad but the Asian man who runs the place is extremely rude and unfriendly! I don't think he likes people...??? The serves are small compared to the menu photos, it's not cheap like Vietnamese usually is. he has even tried to short change us... More

Licensed & BYO prices very acceptable. Food very very exceptional. If you like genuine Asian food you have to give this place a visit.

We have now eaten here 4 or 5 times on a Thursday instead of our usual Cha Cha in Broadbeach, over the last couple of months. This a neighborhood local eating place not a bells and whistles flash restaurant. However if you are wanting authentic Asian food, that is well cooked, very fresh , and tasty try this place out.... Been a couple of times recently after an hiatus of several years. From memory used to be predominantly Thai but now Vietnamese with Thai and Chinese as well. Excellent food, well prepared and served hot and straight from the kitchen. Husband and wife team kept pretty busy with in-house and takeaways. Usually pretty busy. Ate outside last time and inside... More

The wife cooks up a storm and the husband very efficiently gives table service. Only a small place with not much ambience but the food makes up for everything. Prices are reasonable and have never left there disappointed. Have dined there numerous times and my companions also agree that it is very good. From the point of view of parking... More

You can't go wrong here. The food is great, the service is friendly and efficient. The decor is very basic, laminex top tables, simple chairs. Sit inside or out depending on the weather. We sat outside and found it very comfortable. Best asian food in & about Surfers.

We visited early on Friday evening (with 6 y/o). Restaurant is on main road with limited seating inside. It may be worth booking if you want to try your luck with this venue. We sat outside as it seemed more comfortable than inside. Be warned of bugs biting you if you do eat outside (no fault of owners obviously). We... More

The pork ball entree was really nice but would ask for sauce option next visit as I would prefer not to have sweet chili. The green pawpaw salad was really tasty. Garlic and pepper hotpot was also very nice. Owner very friendly and welcoming

Great & tasty food. It came out hot & tasty & was very authentic. It's for sale at the moment so hopefully you get the cook we got. The Vietnamese was my favorite. Not a flashy venue but the food was beautiful. Enjoy.
