We loved our dinner at La Rustica! They have quite an extensive menu so there was a lot we wanted to try but we went with - Lamb Kofta, Garlic Prawns and a classic pizza. They were all incredible but we loved the kofta so much we got two! Cute restaurant and awesome family feel. Also we were sitting outside... More

Wasn't what we expected but we were pleasantly surprised. Inside is a very warm and cosy atmosphere. It was great to dine in an authentic restaurant where we could hear each other! The garlic bread entree was a bit pathetic- it was essentially white bread toasted and smothered with butter and a bit of garlic. Our mains however were absolutely... More

A few friends and I went to this restaurant for dinner on a Friday night. We arrive and are seated outside when we are moved inside, the staff and moving tables around and bumping my seat as they move the chairs. We ask a young male waiter what a nice pasta is and he shrugs and doesn't mention anything. We... More

An Italian restaurant with a few Turkish dishes on the menu, although it would be interesting to have more Turkish as this is seldom done well in Australia. It is quite small and crowded but with a good atmosphere and good food. My daughter liked her risotto but the rice slightly undercooked, I tried the saltimbocca which I liked although... More

Fantastic spot for an affordable, no stress, no fuss, family meal. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our daughter has an egg allergy and they were able to provide an egg-free pasta option. The pasta is the packet stuff but to be expected for this price bracket - this was actually a bonus as it gave us confidence the product... More

I have dined at La Rustica several times now and will continue to do so as their food and service is amazing. My only concerns would be pricing (which I understand based on the size of the restaurant and potential turnover) and the feeling of guilt I had leaving the premises with a takeaway container. I couldn't believe the staff... More

We truly appreciate you sharing on TripAdvisor a complement of most authentic Italian in Surfers- La Rustica is established 31 years, so believe me when I say, we have packed many take home left overs over the years- Possibly one of the first in Surfers to do so at the time- We find it a compliment not to waste good... i would not step inside the restaurant until i captured "Recommended by Tripadvisor". The dishes were average but the meatballs were dry and old just like refrigerated a few days. A very important matter is that the presentation was absolutely disappointed. i have paid for a plastic plates and foodcourt's presentation. However i like their garlic bread and if you... More

Had three of us for dinner. One ordered spaghetti marinara and enjoyed it, the other the veal medallions (and raved about it) and I had the koftas which were really nice as well. Entree was calamari (I thought it should have been a bit bigger for the price), brushetta ($4.50 each was a bit steep) and some garlic bread. Mains... More

Really cute restaurant and friendly staff. The atmosphere was really positive and cosy. My boyfriend and I had the lamb kofta entre which was yummy, good to try something different. And the spaghetti bolognese was delicious! They have gf pasta too which I'm always so grateful for.
