I have eaten at many Asian places in my life and this is by far the worse. We paid 60 dollars first for a meal that tasted disgusting and when we ordered a second they just left it on the table without saying anything. The second was barely eatable and we ended up with food poisoning. When asked why we... More

Dark soy sauce hokkien mee and char siew wan ton noodle soup! If you're already homesick or need a welcome change from the other gourmet delights, this food is pretty authentic. We also tried the Sichuan chicken although I would definitely give that a miss a second time around. Service was prompt at 11pm at night with ourselves being only... More

This place serves Australian style Chinese food. Not authentic. There is nothing malaysian about it.

This restaurant on the corner of Surface Paradise Boulevard and Alison street is always a favourite whenever we visit Surfers. Try their lunch special, authentic Chinese/Malaysian dishes for $9.80. Big servings, freshly cooked and very high quality food, and a well stocked bar. Friendly staff who are happy to help. If you fancy a dish that isn't on their menu... More

For $9.80 the combonation chow mien would have to be the best value feed on the coast. I've eaten there once every week for 8 years and I've never had a bad meal

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my mother's birthday. She is a keen Chinese cook and furious critique. To my pleasant surprise she and the rest of the guests gave the servings a thumbs up. There is no attempt to fuse East with west and the authenticity of the basic Chinese cooking came through eg salted bean curd which... More

Tried a few Asian food joints in Surfers Paradise but none can get as close to the authentic Asian taste except this place. Food taste just nice, not too oily or salty. Portion is quite big also. Only bad thing is that, the food is quite slow. Takes a while to whip up a plate of fried rice and beef... More

This is by far the worst place my partner and i have ever chosen to eat at and we eat out literally every night ! From the moment we walked in it looked tacky but we gave it a chance. We ordered satay chicken "sizzling platter" but half of it was pineapple. - yuck !! Also generally when we order... More

We knew it was going to be great when we saw how many Asian families were also eating here. There were 12 of us so we all ordered a dish each and we also had steamed rice and fried rice. My favourite dishes were the sweet and sour pork and the honey chicken - they had to be one of... More
