Had the buffet last night, very good food and our waitress (Miriam) was excellent. She was very friendly and made our dining experience very enjoyable.

We stayed at the Surfers Paradise Marriott for a combined birthday, anniversary getaway. We chose to dine at Citrique for their famous seafood buffet. Had a brilliant night and a delicious dinner. Our waiter, Alex S, upon hearing it was our anniversary organised a lovely bottle of wine to be sent back to our room, and couldn't be faulted on... More

Attended Citrique this evening for the first time. Our table of four (including a small child) were celebrating a birthday while on holidays. Three of our party enjoyed the seafood buffet and one ordered off the al la carte menu and all of us enjoyed the meal immensely. The restaurant was busy without being crowded and the service was excellent.... More

My wife & I enjoyed the buffet. Was very impressed with the quality of the food. As my wife is Gluten free & has a intolerance to shellfish, there was still a great varity for her to eat. We also had the B/F buffet next morning. Once again the food was great. The service was very good, taking away dirty... More

As regular diners to Citrique Restaurant at the Marriott Hotel in Surfers Paradise, it never disappoints. Seafood excellent as well as a variety of hot dishes and excellent desert. Wilson was our waiter last night and has served our table many a time. Always attentive with clearing the plates etc. A very pleasant young man who clearly loves his job... More

After our first triathlon, we decided to stay down the Coast. We wanted to go to a seafood buffet. We Googled a couple of places and Marriott sounded the best. It certainly lived up to its description online. The food was so excellent.. the seafood was so good! Really fresh and lots of it! Not only was the food great,... More

has the atmosphere of eating at a shopping centre food court. too noisy. wouldn't recommend for an intimate anniversary dinner. didn't get offered any water at all. no Southern Comfort. Was only asked once for a drink . seafood and hot food was very good. desert bar very ordinary at best. tasted the same as it looked. dry and uninviting.... More

Having recently paid about $350 to join Club Marriott, our family arrived to celebrate our daughters birthday. Upon arrival an officious receptionist gave me a lecture about arriving without a reservation, despite this restaurant being almost empty. She then distanced the restaurant from their Club Marriott programme and did not honour the benefit of a 50% discount for members as... More
