Best crab dish !!

We dine regularly at Citrique Restaurant however, recently we were treated to a huge bowl of soft shell crab, chilli style, cooked by Nova and what a treat it was!! Thank you Nova for an excellent dish, you made our day. That crab just melted in our mouths. The buffet was excellent as usual, but... read more

The Marriott Surfer's Paradise is a lovely hotel. Sadly, the breakfast buffet at Citrique which is the hotel's cafe and main general dining area is very ordinary indeed. If it was not for the pleasant wait staff (especially Gina) this review might have been a one star. The so-called chefs are lazy at best and incompetent at worst. Even simple... More

We made the mistake of going after 8 on a Friday night and some of the hot dishes had been sitting drying out for hours. Oysters Kilpatrick had definitely gone to god. Mentioned this and we're told they would let chef know but I think he was the one standing over them so he didn't care. Seafood, prawns, crab, scallops all... More

I love this restaurant, however the service was a little off on Mother's Day my son has to ask for a lemonade 3 times in which he waited 45 mins for. Also they really need to have more vegetarian options in the hot area of meals. The only thing on the buffet in the hot section is roast vegetables.

Hotel Reception staff were aware it was a special anniversary and obviously relayed this to the restaurant because we were totally spoiled! Mo and Naomi looked after us, seeing that we were 100% happy; we enjoyed the seafood buffet - abundant fresh and cooked dishes constantly refreshed and replenished - we noticed latecomers who were still able to access generous... Wow. Everything that you can think of they had. We were on the Coast with friends so we thought we would treat ourselves on our last night. Of course being a buffet it's hard to not eat too much which we all did. Prawns, crab, lobster, I could go on forever. Everthing was fresh, clean and well presented. Service great.... More

Great atmosphere and staff. Love the new menu. About time the old one was changed. The lamb Shanks/ prawn etc are sublime.

The buffet with lot of seafood choice, but focus on cold seafood, for hot tray not many choices. Other then seafood, hot tray focus on western style, if searching more Asian style, you will be disappointed.

We visited on Saturday 02/05/2015. The Buffet was HUGE.. very spread out over a large area. To be completely honest - I was expecting more after these reviews. The lineup for the seafood was really long and took a while to get the food. The staff were AMAZING.. very attentive and friendly. The food and the seating / distance from... More

I booked this restaurant after researching the other buffets and this one did not disappoint. On arrival, we were met with a smile and offered either a Corona beer or a glass of champagne as we walked in. I thought this was a nice touch. The array of seafood plus sushi was superb. It was incredibly fresh and tasty. There... More
