We were very surprised by the RSL club, it has a very nice decor, and looks to be recently updated. Ate at the restaurant and were surprised at the variety and quality of the meals, I had a very nice steak my wife had the barramundi, and the drinks were cheaper than most places in Surfers, overall a nice place... We visited this restaurant recently and had a roast pork dinner. Absolutely gorgeous. Meat was plentiful, tender and tasty, and the crackling done to perfection. Vegetables also cooked to our liking and tasty gravy. Great value for money and staff attentive and polite.

Decided to have dinner here rather than Hog's Breath so as to try a classic RSL meal. I should not have bothered. The place has just reopened after renovations and it actually has no mood or ambience to it. The food (chicken schnitzel for me & seafood for my wife) was very average. The chicken was oily and I felt... More

Do yourself a favour, go somewhere else. $26 for a steak in a pub environment, you need to go up and order then go and order very expensive drinks from the bar that doesn't take credit cards, cash only. If your a Senior then you can get the cheap roast pork. The T Bone medium was terrible, it was burnt... More

A little bit of local old school fun, Friday night is when to get along to the RSL! Become a member for $10 and participate in the huge raffle, live music and great food ( Price and Quality ) even though the kitchen is being rebuilt.

We always visit the RSL on our annual holiday to Surfers Paradise and have done for the past 8 years. Excellent food and the Staff are brilliant, great selection even for younger children and their roast meals are fantastic as is the BLT that is served at lunchtimes. The staff have always welcomed our 3 children and treat them as... More
