I like to visit this restaurant as a first choice when a special occasion comes up with friends. Always enjoy a strawberry jarhito! Very relaxed and friendly staff. The location may be a little off putting to some, but once you are inside enjoying the food, you forget where you are. Spicy chicken strips are always a winner. The only... More

I come here about every second month and it is a great place. It's got atmosphere but I guess as it is very popular it is sometimes gets very noisy. The meals are great and the drinks are better.

This place is a funky restaurant. It has a great ambiance and so awesome menu! It's interesting how from the outside it looks so quiet and ordinary... But inside is a place full of people and life! The drinks menu is full of wonderful and unique cocktails (my fave was the fruit tingle). The foo sis also amazing - the... More

We went to the Crooked Cactus a little while ago for a friends birthday dinner, as I had done before for a family members birthday. It was enjoyable and with a relaxed vibe, good mexican food which took a while to arrive at our table, but this was because it was all made freshly by their authentic chef. You can... More

Nice atmosphere , average food . Not authentic but well presented , flavours missing and food a bit bland . Young staff with not much experience . Overall ok .

First of all, I arrived here with high hopes. The place looks gorgeous and the food looked absolutely delicious. However, unfortunately the staff ruined the entire dining experience for us. After receiving the first entrées (prawns and chilli con queso & corn chips), we both literally ate one prawn each from the plate. My partner and I then went to... More

The decorations of the restaurant are interesting, and the food is plentiful for what you pay for. Drinks (including cocktails - delicious!) are ordered at the bar and delivered when ready. I do recommend trying a cocktail (or many); definitely worth the price. The black bean nachos were nice, and you could tell the chips were not from a packet/factory-made.... More

No matter of the bums on seats at the time the meals come out in a very reasonable time. Meals are very tasty and filling. Personal choice is the Reef and Beef Burrito.

Great location and overall Mexican experience. Food is good and lots of cocktails to choose from. Can book out easily and be quite noisy when busy.

Great Mexican food with a good selection. The best thing here is the amazing cocktails! Bookings was important and was very busy. It is shame it is not open for lunch on the weekends which would be awesome. The toilet is shared with the attached pub and was not a place to be after my burrito, pretty minging!
