My family and I visited Nautilus whilst on a short trip to Port Douglas. The setting is exquisite, with food and service to match. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgable and the food was spectacular. Fairly pricey but we thought it was worth it for such a memorable experience. A must when visiting far north QLD.

An enjoyable meal in lovely surrounds. We had the 7-course degustation with matching wines and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Whilst pricier than some of the restaurants in Port Douglas, I would definitely recommend this, especially if you're on holidays and/or wish to indulge. The food quality and presentation was very good, the wines matched well, and the service was... More

It's worth going here just for the setting, but the food isn't bad either. I was particularly taken with the creme brûlée for dessert, yum! The entree and main we're solid too. A tad on the expensive side but worth it when you're on holiday in a place like Port Douglas.

This experience was once of total immersion in ambience and delight. We had advised that it was our 10th wedding anniversary and were given a secluded and romantic corner and a personalised card of welcome. How lovely. After a delicious cocktail in the lounge whilst enjoying the twilight we were taken to our table with the budha overlooking us. The... More

During a recent weeks holiday in Port Douglas we went to Nautilus for dinner as it had been recommended to us. They were right- it is a wonderful place to have a great meal. We were fortunate to book on an evening with little wind and no rain. The setting is beautiful, hard to believe it is just off the... More

What a wonderful, memorable experience. From the moment we were greeted and taken to the canopy for cocktails we knew we were in for a special evening. We chose to have the seven course chefs tasting menu and selected wines. The food was fresh and delicious. Each course explained by friendly efficient and knowledgeable staff - it was perfect. The... Wow, talk about fine decadence. What an amazing meal. My partner took me to Nautilus Restaurant as a treat and to try the amazing food we had heard so many compliments on since arriving. The restaurant ambiance, food and staff certainly lived up to it's reputation! We began with tasty cocktails in the canopy lounge....mmmmm what a delightful beginning to... More

For us this was a very good experience. A unique setting for us but I gather there are similar ones in the tropics. Very comfortable chairs & tables. Good reception area for pre dinner drinks. Attentive & helpful staff. Food was excellent. Wine I felt was a tad overpriced but probably to be expected. If going by foot be prepared... More
