We ended up in Zinc one evening when we'd been disorganised and not got any food in to cook for ourselves and what a find it was!! The food was absolutely wonderful, with choice for everyone, I had the mushroom risotto which was delicious! But what really made it was the staff who were so friendly and accommodating, we weren't... More

Great friendly staff, amazing cocktails, food was amazing I had the pork fillet and hubby had the beef fillet both done perfectly and were fantastic. Sticky Date pudding for dessert yum yum. Make sure you visit the bathrooms, you will be amazed! Trust me.

We had our wedding anniversary dinner here. The food and service was good. And the restaurant had a nice feel to it. We had to wait for a table so we sat in the lounge and had drinks. I loved the cocktails. The staff were very helpful so the service was good. It wasn't too expensive for a nice dinner

We've only eaten at Zinc once before (maybe 2009) but wanted to try it again as it was a place we usually walk past, or just drop into for a coffee whenever we've stayed in Port Douglas in the past. For me, this is the best place to eat in Port Douglas. The food was delicious - the Barramundi was... More

Our fl;ight from Melb. was cancelled and we couldn't get on another flight until 4.30pm (thanks Jet Star), so by the time we arrived in Port Douglas we struggled to find somewhere still serving dinner. Zinc we open & serving. How fortunate were we? Not only could they serve us, but the food was amazing. All four of us loved... More

Gorgeous cheese soufflé for starter and great mains, I had the pasta which was huge but great after a day on the ocean! Unfortunately no room for dessert though! Well worth going to, attentive staff, no sea view but good location and nice environment!

Lovely elegant restaurant, excellent service, simple food, couldn't fault to much about the experience at Zinc...... It's at the end of Main Street away from the beach so it was quiet and away from the Hustle and bustle. Worth a try....
