Kids eat free between 5-6

We had a really nice meal here and were pleasantly surprised to see that our kids would eat for free as we arrived between 5-6pm. This is a really good deal, they don't scrimp on the kids meals at all, they had good sized portion of fish and chips. I ordered the beef fillet special in red wine jus... read more

I had a birthday dinner here (8 people). We were all blown away by the food and the friendliness of the staff. Food came out on time. There was absoultely nothing negative about our experience there. I had eaten at Salsa a few nights prior (and I know Salsa always wins awards) but i actually preferred the food at Zinc.... More

Dinner during our holiday and this place will get a second visit before we leave. Great food and the service was happy and friendly. I had a barramundi cooked to perfection. Very crispy skin. My husband had duck legs. Also lovely. Can highly recommend.

My husband and I and our Australian friends enjoyed dinner our last night in Port Douglas at Zinc. We also ate at top-ranked Harrisons in Port Douglas. We actually preferred Zinc. Everything from its professional service, excellent food, fine wine list, soft, appropriate background dinner music to its huge fish tank made our meal memorable. While the food at Harrisons... Although Zinc is only 10 years old, it has developed into one of the most reliable and better known restaurants in Port Douglas. Their executive chef has been internationally trained and produces very creative menus, but he is better known locally for his modesty and training of his chefs. Absolutely love this restaurant, amazing food, amazing service and the kids love the giant fish tank. Great choice for kids meals, and I LOVE the creme brûlée :)

My wife and I 'walked in' for dinner. The restaurant is modern and very open and airy. The menu is varied but not long. The food we had was fresh, well cooked and presented. For my taste, I would have preferred my prawn spaghetti dish to have had more garlic. The service was good and attentive.

This restaurant is very nice, with a good menu and food. The wine we felt was very overpriced though.
