The mud crab is to die for. It was the only thing we had here. It was fantastic. It was enough to only want a coffee to finish. The staff were lovely and attended to us wonderfully without looking over our shoulders. Perhaps they were overstretched the night we were there though because the table behind us of 'senior' patrons... More

We ate here because there were actual vegetables on the menu (we were sick of chips and decorative but tasteless side salads) and it turned out to be one of the best meals we had in Port Douglas - at a more reasonable price than many of the others we tried. The service was great, the food was great, the... More

Great meal, fantastic deserts, and great service. I had been staying in Port Douglas for three days and had almost given up on the restaurants before coming to Zinc. My partner and I were considering getting a BBQ chicken and dodgy pre-made salad from Coles after being extremely disappointed with other highly rated restaurants. The food was spot on, wine... More

It's a terrific people watching spot during the day and classy dining at night. Food and service is great ..... but the toilets are in a class of their own. My only quibble is you can't sit on the throne and view the aquarium!!

We were looking forward to a great dinner instead it was very disappointing. Two of us ordered the duck legs that were over cooked and dry, our friend ordered the fish that was also over cooked and dry. It was also expensive and definitely not worth it.

The food was really good, priced about average for restaurants in Port. The service was ok, if a bit slow. The restaurant is worth checking out and if you do - go to the toilet - they have a fantastic fish tank to amuse the grumpiest of diners!

Nice food and good service, as well. Suitable for families with relatively young children (my 5 and 7 year olds loved their mocktails). We will be back.

If you travel to Port Douglas then a lunch, dinner or just a drink at ZINC is an absolute must. On the main street in PD and it has a great atmosphere. I suggest the "Beef Cappacio" as a starter…..delicious. We were there for a week and we had a first meal in PD there and our last together with... More

Hubby and I had a nice dinner here. Dining is al fresco & we choose to side outside. As previously reviewed, the entrance is "confusing". We constantly had ppl walking though the dining area to get to the maître d. Avoid the pork belly entrée - more of an Asian salad with a crisp and too heavy on the fish... More
