We visit every year

Probably the fifteenth time my wife and I have dined there either on our own or with our regular two travel companions. Out of the twelve different restaurants we dined at this year at Port, this was the only one where the amount of food really tested my appetite!! Four of us chose the middle... read more

We sat outside and it was lovely. The food was delicious. This restaurant is BYO and just two doors down from a bottle shop, which was very handy. Standard Thai offerings - but everything we had was of good quality.

As with most places in Port Douglas, this place is a bit overpriced, but in comparison, this is not too bad. The food was terrific - can highly recommend the Penang Chicken, Duck Curry and Beef with Cashew Nuts. Service was great - very fast. Indoor and outdoor dining - inside is noisy but not so much so that it... More

We had a group dinner here. Sat on tables out the front, BYO alcohol was a bonus and the food was delicious. Would definitely dime here again.

Maybe we are spoilt with good Thai restaurants in Sydney but this restaurant was very disappointing. The food was not very spicy for Thai and the noodle dish was served lukewarm. Entree of satay chicken was dry and fairly tasteless

Great food, good portions and really fresh. Good to see the old tradition of BYO that we seem to have lost in the UK.

We were a group of 5 ladies who walked in here without a booking on a Thursday night. No problem getting a table. Staff friendly. Plenty to choosing from on the menu. All the dishes we ordered were bursting with freshness and taste. Only complaint was the beef in the thai beef salad was a bit tough. Other than that... More

I had the seafood curry which according to menu is made with freshly caught seafood. It didn't seem like that to me specially calamari and mussels. Portion size was very medium too. We both had one main and rice and Roti and still left hungry(I am not a big eater either). One several of Roti was four tiny pieces.

Thai is my favourite cuisine and I've eaten in so many Thai restaurants in Aussie and overseas that I felt I had to give his one a mention. Really, really good fresh Thai food at a price hard to beat in Port Douglas or anywhere else in Oz. Good menu, great attentive service, nice decor and friendly atmosphere was a... More

We had the banquet for four. It cost $29 each with a $1.00 per head corkage. Yes it is BYO. If you have a car stop at Dan Murphys in Smithfield and get some wine much cheaper than in Port Douglas. Food was great, tasty and well priced. This is the sister restaurant to Siam by the Sea but the... More
