As a local, my family and I have been dining at Salsa Bar in Port Douglas for over 15 years and it never ceases to please. Consistent taste sensation, warm bubbly staff, relaxed tropical dining at it's finest. My favourite restaurant.

I cannot rate this restaurant as offered a table, even though there were lots of tables free I was told by a very stressed lady that there were no tables. When I asked if I could reserve a table for later or tomorrow she became very flustered and said no. I did not understand this reaction. I am a clean... More

Food was excellent. Service superb. Extensive wine list and the soufflé is worth the wait. We had a lovely dining experience at Salsa. Will definitely be back again!!!

Really varied menu, great night out. Our waitress was so nice and helpful and they come around and constantly fill up your water glass which is a nice touch.

We ate lunch at Salsa Bar & Grill a few years ago when we were in Port Douglas and loved it so we really looking forward to a similar experience when we visited again last week. We weren't disappointed. The food is still great. We shared the dips to start (the taramasalata was my favourite!) followed by meals off the... More

1. You have to book 4 or more days ahead for dinner; in a holiday spot like Port Douglas. 2. You decide after your 1st dinner you need to return again before you finish your holiday ( even though there are many other good choices around). 3. The main reason for 2 above is that you would be very happy... More

There were 20 of us for my sister in laws 50th birthday. Staff were excellent with helping us with food, speeches etc....nothing was too much for them. The food was exceptional. Everything was delicious. Must make a booking so you are not disappointed. There are 2 seatings generally 6pm and 8.00. Generous servings for all meals....I must say I was... More

We visited Salsa for happy hour drinks and tapas and were not disappointed. They have a small tapas menu available during the afternoon. We had salt & pepper squid, spring rolls and fish tacos which were all reasonably priced and with great flavour. Service was good.

The food is not your run of the restaurant food. They provide something different but really nice. Service is A1. You must try it. You will not be disappointed.
