We had a very good meal where the pulled pork starter was immense. My lamb was very good without being stunning. I felt €16 for a soufflé was a little pricey. Overall a good meal but quite pricey.

Really enjoyed it - great food and would go back. Had lunch in Easter 2013 - accommodating and attentive staff. Generous servings and great flavours. Family friendly.

With no booking we just got in for lunch for two. Recommend you book even for lunch! Floor staff very good with water, drinks and food. I had spring rolls (plenty of them on the day) and my wife had the special coral trout. Both meals perfectly cooked and perfect size.

We dined at Salsa Bar and Grill over Easter. The outlook and surroundings at the restaurant are beautiful, you really get that North Queensland experience, sitting out on the open deck with views of the water- bliss! The food we chose though was fairly average. My partner liked his seafood jambalaya (I had a taste, really fresh produce and great... More

Rated as nr 1 in town. Agree that the atmosphere is nice. The personell is also very friendly. The food was nicely presented but the taste was plain and average. Won't consider a revisit considering the higher price range.

Have just arrived in Port Douglas, and done the restaurant March to check out places. Locals were raving about Salsa so we went round to book, saw this rather plain place with very ordinary chairs etc. but hey, we'll give it a go we thought! Guess what? Booked solid till Sunday with 4 pages of reserves waiting. Get there in... More

Consistently the best restaurant in Port Douglas. Great food, great cocktails, great wine list, great service, warm & buzzy. What more can you ask for. Only criticism is that it is really difficult to get into. Reservations well in advance are recommended.

A busy restaurant so bookings are recommended. We got the seafood creole and fish of the day, both were nice but the dessert was the real star. The Daintree chocolate souffle is worth the 20 minute wait and the lime meringue tart was delicious.

Was disappointed that we couldn't get in for dinner as this place is booked out 1week in advance in busy periods - lesson learnt book before arriving in PD. anyway we came for tapas and cocktails, we were so happy - all food and drinks was delicious. And very nice staff. Can't wait to have dinner here.
