Thank you for a great night. We had really looked forward to our Seafood Platter dinner since we booked our getaway back in October, and it didn't disappoint. It was fresh, plentiful and very well presented. The large mud crab was great to look at and even better to get into. The waitress we had was a delight - quirky,... More

Solid food (though a little pricey) and service, with a great outlook. Definitely use the insect repellent by the front door! Cocktails were well done and the mud crab was a highlight.

We went after sunset so there wasn't much of an ocean view to enjoy, the restaurant itself isn't very pretty. There's also quite a few mosquitoes flying around, but insect repellant is available. We ordered the mud crab in lemon butter and a coral trout fillet. The food was quite good, but at least the crab is quite expensive. The... More

My husband and I went to this restaurant 2x last week. Food was simply divine. Ordered their signature dishes ie chilli mudcrab first and coral trout. Very generous serves. We had the mars bar sundae for dessert. Service was great, no nonsense and unpretentious. No airs and graces here. Got treated to swallows flying through the restaurant around 6.30pm. Family... This is a great restaurant - their are table clothes and you get service - not like a lot of the self-order type places. Very pleasant and knowledgeable wait staff, very friendly. They have wonderful fresh fish of the day - be sure to try the barimundi, only in Australia. They also feed a very large grouper each evening around... More

A very enjoyable dining experience with knowledgeable and pleasant wait staff - the seafood was particularly delicious and the wine recommended was excellent. It was tucked away a little away from the harbour so I'm glad we managed to find it - definitely worth the visit.

We went there twice but no sighting of George. The talk is interesting though but maybe he is on daylight savings time!! Had the bucket of prawns and they were divine!! The view is wonderful and with all the boats filing past...you could while away hours and hours here.

Called into the bar for some late afternoon nibbles and drink. Which were tasty. Then intrigued by George the Groper performance, so it turned into an extend stay. Waited but he didn't show. Although we hadn't booked a table they fitted us in to the restaurant, which was very busy. It was an excellant choice. We all really enjoyed our... More

They do it really well, extensive menu with a seafood focus, cooked perfectly. Great location over looking the water, can be a bit noisy but all in all great.

Delicious seafood - the fish curry is beautiful, also the fried whole fish (in the specials) is excellent! Mars Bar sundae and espresso martinis are to die for! Very good overall.
