We had dinner there twice during our Port Douglas holidays and it was just amazing. The location of the restaurant directly on the pier provides a perfect scenic view across the sea. The staff are great, very helpful and know their menu very well. There are every day changing specials as whole fishes, fish platters, sashimi platters and curries and... More

We loved the food so much, that we went back the next day for more...cozy set up, very casual, over the water. We only had seafood and it was delicious. Our favorite dish was the mussels made with lemongrass & coconut milk.

This is the place to go around 5pm each day when a giant groper they call George comes in for a feed - if it's not mating season - it's worth going for a look to see the size of him and enjoy a drink and bucket of prawns

This is a real treat, and old wooden building right on the waterfront inlet near the marina. Afternoon bucket of prawns & chilled wine overlooking the river is great value & a marvellous experience - chuck the shells in to feed the fish! Evening meals were excellent quality & good value - mainly but not exclusively fish. Visited 4 times... More

We had dinner at the inlet for our 40th wedding anniversary. After a drink at the bar we were seated, the staff were very welcoming bringing lovely cold water straight away. We decided to forego the entree because we wanted desert. My husband had the coral trout it was outstanding. I had the salt and pepper calamari as a main... More

Had our Xmas party here so perhaps a little unfair to review, however the restaurant produced first class meals for all staff. The only gripe on the night was that the drinks service was ordinary in that it was slow and drinks were forgotten a few times.

We had the quesadilla, scallops with pumpkin purée and the barramundi. It was all really delicious especially the barramundi. We heard from our waitress that fruit bats fly across the inlet after sunset so we ordered dessert to see the bats. It was such an awesome site!! Overall it was a great dining experience!!

Nothing beats watching the sun go down over the mountains and inlet, which a bucket of prawns and a cocktail. We had a late reservation at Harrrison's so decided to nip over here for a drink and watched the sunset. My husband got a bucket of prawns to while away the time and we left happy and content. It's a... More

We've dined here a few times on trips to Port, and it never disappoints. seafood must be fresh and perfectly cooked, and the inlet does this to perfection. Tempura King Prawns, Sardines, pan fried Halumi and a magnificent fish curry washed down with a great wine selection. What is not to like! for the quality and location, this is very... More

You're paying for the view, and while nice, it's more towards the marina so you don't get as nice a view of the water as you might like (there's a park about a 10 minute walk away that's fantastic). I had the fish curry, which was solid, as well as a drink from the bar. The service was great and... More
