George/Georgina the Groper and Deep Fried Barramundi

We dined twice at this excellent restaurant during our 1 week stay. It has such a great friendly atmosphere and the Groper show, which is excellent for kids sets the tone. I ordered the deep fried Barramundi with Pineapple glaze and it has to be one of the nicest fish dishes I've tasted. So much... read more

We had an amazing meal here while enjoying the fabulous views out over the water. Below we watched the mud crabs, fish and an enormous stingray that all came out to eat the leftovers that the patrons were able to throw over the balcony railing. We had exceptional service and of all the places we ate at while in Port Douglas,... More

We don't eat out often but we really enjoyed our experience tonight. We shared the chili calamari as an entree, shared the 1kg whole trout for main, and the brownie for dessert. The trout was excellent, it was the sauce that really made the dish. Look forward to coming back. Was a bit pricey but fully satisfied!

Found this on a walk around Port Douglas, we decided to book in for our mother/daughter dinner on mothers day. The waitress was very helpful and suggested we come back at 5.30 to enjoy the sunset. On arrival she had allocated us to an amazing table where my daughter could get some great sunset shots. Starting the night with a... More

This place is awesome a must visit. We had the platter and a few other dishes. The service was above average and I recommend trying the three sheets cocktail. We will be visiting again. I recommend going at sunset it's beautiful

My husband and l went there for dinner last night and it was a great experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic. Our waitress was Caresse and she was a delight. Great friendly staff greeted and directed to table. Discussed menu and style of mud crab (Lemon butter or Singapore Chilli) to go with the obvious choice when having seafood, the platter. Was delicious looking and the tasting did not fail to impress. Staff kept up the hand wash bowls and service was excellent. Price became secondary to the pleasure and... More

Well done to the crew at On the Inlet. I ate their with a group of 25. From start to end it was idyllic. Great, friendly service and the food was outstanding. Everyone in the group complimented the meal. My crispy skin barramundi was succulent and delicious. I had the calamari to start and I could believe how tender it... More
