We went here every morning except one during our last trip to Port Douglas. The one time we didn't only confirmed Fresq really does serve the best breakfast in Port Douglas.

Very disappointed with our breakfast. Eggs benedict had a terrible hollandaise sauce that left me feeling ill. The pancake 'stack' which was all of two pancakes were dry and not very filling. No one asked how our meals were.

Enjoyed a big breakfast with friends around lunchtime - recommended - especially with the freshly squeezed juice which was amazing! Only recommendation is that they should offer poached eggs instead of just fried or scrambled. Great atmosphere located on the corner of Macrossan St - relax and watch the world go by

Visited many times on past trips to PD. Thought we'd try a few other places but nothing compares. Absolutely the best brekky. Started with hot chocolate and fruit smoothie which disappeared very quickly. Breakfast was vege omelette, and poached eggs on toast. Generous servings, friendly staff. There may not be a beach or water view but the food more than... More

It's a bustling little cafe. Despite the high clientele turnover, the staff is very attentive and gives full attention to its customers. Go for the full breaky if you're hungry, or for the French toast if you're after something sweet. Coffee and fresh juices are both great. Don't hesitate!

Perhaps I've been to the wrong places, but after 7 days there and visiting a number of the local restaurants was disappointed to find the quality of the food (at least in many of the places I'd visited) a little lacking. Not so at Cafe Fresq. Big breakfast was tasty and huge, coffee was great and service friendly and efficient.... More
