Had the "junior" breakfast and it nearly did for me, I'd not have managed the senior version. A proper cuppa and freshly squeezed OJ too. Excellent.

I rate the breakfast at Cafe Fresq as one of THE best breakfasts I have ever eaten!! I used to live in Port Douglas and frequent there quite often now and going here for Breakfast is a MUST when I'm there. I try and go every single breakfast that is how good it is!! You must get the little home... More

We stayed in Port Douglas for 9 days and for 8 of them we had breakfast at Fresq. Good, wholesome food and great service. Debra, the owner, charms you with her Irish accent and sense of humor. A great place for breakfast or a nice coffee - both of which are actually quite hard to come by in Port sadly.... More

I had a Prawn and Mango salad that was to die for. Hubby enjoyed something that I cannot remember, because my taste buds were in ecstasy with the salad..

We enjoyed our breakfast but the coffee was average (I am fussy about my coffee). Good value, we had friendly service and they were very busy. I think its a great breakfast spot in Port Douglas. Thinks its very good value for money.

She may have been having a bad day, or it might have just been her, but I had the distinct impression that me and my wife ruined the waitresses day by having breakfast. However when the food and coffee arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Get the little potato cakes on your big breakfast, they are... More

Such a total great experience at Cafe Fresq we ate breky here everyday. Nothing was too difficult for the staff if we needed to change the menu slightly to accomodate our needs. Loved the poached egg mushrooms and tomatoes. Berry yoghurt was a total heavenly experience and the coffee hit the right spot. I would not hesistate to receommend this... More

I live in Auckland, NZ, where we have great coffee, so Fresq was a great find. A double-shot espresso that made my tastebuds jump! Great breakfasts - incl toasted banana bread with honeycomb butter or raspberry coulis. Servings are generous. Opens 7.30am and is jumping by 8am. Friendly, professional service. Gets my vote.
