Had dinner at the Yacht Club on Sunday night. I had steak with pepper sauce which was delicious. My husband had the mackerel, but although it was very tasty there was not much of it. Possibly because of the cyclone, and normal supplies are disrupted. The location was lovely, and it's worth going early and seeing the sunset. Beautiful. It... More

We were recommended to try here by other guests staying at our hotel, and we were not disappointed. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The location alongside the river is great with either open air or under cover dining.

Every Wednesday the yacht Club provides free sailing trips at 4pm you must be there. You will see a skipper and you can either bring your own booze, buy them a six pack and bring some snacks on board. We had bought a six pack for the skipper but then he didn't drink so it was a free sail trip.... More

Laid back place. We did not have dinner, only drinks. Lot of locals. Easy going. Nice spot to view the inlet to the river. If ( very) lucky, you might spot a croc. Several are living up the river.

So this place isn't fine dining, it's not a fancy restaurant, it's a place to go and grab a drink and some surprisingly good food for a very good price. The staff are there to serve you your drinks and bring you your food which is what they did; I didn't find them rude at all and we went there... More

For essentially a social club, the food here is absolutely delicious! I'd recommend the specials board as this was recommended to us and was delicious the 3 times we went here. Lovely location as well! Highly recommended!

Respect should be earned. Idiots serving behind the bar. Shocking treatment of VIP guests. No respect for international visitors. Bar service - Disgusting. Food and dining experience - nice, friendly, but expensive. ....beware of mozzies and ripoffs... Feral locals lurking.

The outdoor dining area offers Tropical strength mosquito repellent as this is a haven for mozzies. Great idea Yacht Club, BUT, if you apply the spray where the cans are located be prepared to be abused by other patrons! Put it at the door - saves much embassassment for shy, elderly ladies from Down South. Bar staff serve with sunglasses... More
