We could not book but told to get there at 4pm..The local yacht owners go around and ask if you would like a sail...they take you out free of charge. Great place to sit on the water, enjoy the sunset, a sail and their dinner was very very tasty. Well worth going to. Friendly and welcoming people

No our meal was not the best meal we ever had, but it's up there with some of the nicest. We have been lucky to eat meals all over the world. We were very happy with our meal here. The atmosphere is great, the beer , chilled, the local company, warm, what more could you want? It's a great club. We... More

We eat regularly at the PDYC and the meals are consistently tasty, generous sized serves of food made with the freshest ingredients. Fish and steaks are first class and for the cooler evenings meals like slow cooked beef cheek or lamb shoulder are perfect. There's a special board and one special we love is the duck or salmon spring rolls... More

More people need to visit the PD yacht club. An awesome spot, interesting members, great value meals and well priced drinks. Wednesday afternoon free sailings are apparently a must!

We were recommend to eat here by Lazy Lizard Motel and we were not disappointed . The location is fantastic and the food good value and healthy. We had seafood which was fresh and the vegetables were substantial. The alchohol was a reasonable price as well unlike the establishments in Port Douglas Central. Friendly staff as well

No frills, no pretensions - just a great setting with honest food at a reasonable (for Port Douglas) price. I had one of my top 10 ever steaks ever and I'll be back, and I very rarely do repeat visits when I'm on holiday. There's no table service, although the meals are brought out to you, (and they're real meals),... More

This is by far our favourite place to eat in PD. In a town that menus are expensive and dishes are often over sauced this laid back yachty dishes up a brilliant fresh meals. Don't come in a rush as it is often busy and the meals come out slowly. Sit back on the deck with a drink in hand... More

My partner and I got married at the Yacht Club in June this year and we still can't stop talking about how fantastic it was. Richard and Simon the chef were so flexible in any requests that we had and put together a great night. Kristie looked after us for the night and nothing was too much of a hassle... More

We were travelling with our small dog and found the Yacht Club great for lunch. We could sit at a table out on the grass with her, eat and watch the boats go by on the river.
