We went early as we had not booked. It was lovely to see so many families out having fun and the kids were all well behaved but it was noisy. We also had the most awful music blaring in our ears nearby and that spoiled the lovely ambience of the waves on the beach. My suggestion for couples is to... More

This place could do much better considering the location. Limited menu and generally uninspiring food. Big fail on the lack of any vegetarian main which provided limited options for my partner. A little bit extra thought and style would make this place an absolute winner. The inability to run a joint tab for food and drinks is also an annoyance.

Nice location, and the food was very tasty. Had to book, as we couldnt get in the night before. There was mosquitos though, so give yourself a quick spray.

Went to the four mile beach, hired sun lounges with an umbrella $35 for the day and then went here for our lunch. Very easy walk from the beach 50m. The food was one of the best meals we had. The coral trout tacos and crab buco was wonderful flavoursome and fresh. Strongly recommend as part of your lazy day... More

The food choices were interesting and good value for money. Bar had a good range of beers and wine. Location on the beach was very pleasant

We decided to go here at the last minute and it was great. We hadn't booked and were lucky enough to get a table. It is a busy place families and large groups enjoying the club. It is basically an open air terrace with drop blinds when its windy or cold. The food was great - I had rump steak... More

We enjoyed lunch at the Surf Club with a table on the sea edge(when the blinds were up). Best fish tacos and hamburgers! Good prices and service. Food is presented thoughtfully and standard is consistent. Drinks at bar prices. It is a busy family venue. Recommended

We visited the surf club on the recommendation of a local and we were so happy with the food and service her that we ate here every second day for either lunch or dinner even though our accomodation was right in the middle of Macrossan Street. The lunches were light and delicious with a modern Mexican type cuisine. The dinners... More

Forget all the tacky tourist stuff on the strip, head here for the coral trout tacos and friendly staff! Didn't find better food in PD
