The food and service were very good, with food taken under a covered veranda, but there are no real views, which rather takes the edge off the experience.

You can go here for just a drink or lunch and dinner - food is good and very reasonably priced and it's right on the beach - playground for kids too - very relaxing

This is a little secret of PD. We had heard that teh chef had come over from Nautilis to run the Surf Club kitchen and we had visited on a previous trip to PD and had amazing lunches here. The burgers were yumm and the fish tacos my husband had looked great too. It gets a little overrun with families... More

Always, always go here any time we are in Port D. Brekkie, lunch, dinner, cold beer. Phenomenal support for all local sporting activites. Cold beer on tap (nice ones) Well run kitchen, tasty food. Nice cold beer too. Staff are great. Anyone that wants to slag this place off should go and live in a ditch. Top place, on the... More

We are regular travelers to Port Douglas and one of our absolute favorite places to eat is the life saving club. The food is fabulous and not to mention very affordable. Fish Tacos & the beef burger washed down with an icy cold beer is just the ticket. The kids had the Sushi every single time! Recommend to everybody! get... More

We had delicious reasonable meals but very noisy. Lots of children unsupervised which spoilt the atmosphere. If you want reasonable and very casual with children this us ideal.

A friend recommended this place and it was awesome. Very good prices and a good amount of choice on the menu. Very relaxed and a lovely deck. I had the soft shell crab .. (some name I can't remember) rolls things and they were delicious. Highly recommend.

Service was great and very friendly, and the location's perfect as it's right on your way to the beach. There's a huge outdoor covered seating area. The food was just okay though - I got the curry (portions were huge) but it was way too salty and doused in spices. Maybe I didn't order the right thing - maybe will... More

We stumbled across this place on our way into town as we were leaving the beach. What good luck. The atmosphere was lively, the staff friendly and the food tasty and didn't break the bank. A wonderful first dinner in Port Douglas.

This may be a small town SLSC but the food is worthy of much more. Brilliant deck to relax on as well.
