We had a great seafood dinner at this hidden spot - not on the main road, on the beach! Casual dining, outside, of course.

We booked her as I wasn't sure if they would have a walk-up table or not and I'm glad we did. The setting is lovely; right next to the beach and even though it was windy, they had the blinds down so it wasn't too bad. I had the fish taco's and my daughter had the salt & pepper squid.... More

Staying in Port Douglas for a weekend away from Cairns. Was told by a Port Douglas local about the Surf Club. Went there last nite and going back tonight the food was excellent and the staff friendly.

What a little gem, fabulously friendly staff and great value for money right on the beach, loved it. The best part was to see a kids menu that didn't revolve around the deep fryer. The location is fabulous and the area around the club is perfect for kids to run around. Very pleasant experience

Great for a casual bite or an afternoon drink on the decking with a view of the beach. Very easy to sit and watch the afternoon meander by!

food was terrific, well priced, the chefs obviously are well trained in seafood as everything was presented perfectly. It was a little uncomfortable outside, very hot and sticky, but if you can cope with the heat it's worth a try

My partner and I went to this restaurant yesterday evening. I had a seafood stew like thing that tasted like canned tomatoes and my partner had a bland tasteless Parma. The seafood dish had a tomato base which overtook the taste of what I assumed was freshly caught muscles and prawns. I'm not sure why this restaurant has so many... More

The Life Saving Club has a restaurant with it's owner and chef trained at Nautilus (the best restaurant in Port Douglas) serving great quality meals in a relaxed, open air environment. We recommend it as the prices were good and it was only 30 metres from our apartment door at "306 On The Beach" which is a terrific apartment and... More
