Just get yourself a bucket of prawns, they are just fantastic, great value for money. Nice to sit by the beach and eat top quality food

We came here to get a quick lunch meal. I had a calamari main which was massive and my boyfriend had a soft shell crab burger. Also tasty but needed fries on the side which were also massive! Drinks are pretty cheap and you can see the waves from the large outdoor deck. More of a seaside cafe vibe than... More

We went to the surf club for lunch with no expectations and were pleasantly surprised. There is a playground attached, handy if you have small ones and the deck is open/airy. Menu was really modern good variety. Both our meals were delicious too. Definitely recommend.

One of the things we've discovered in Australia is the various "clubs." And, what a great discovery! There are bowling clubs, surf clubs, sailing clubs, game fishing clubs, cricket clubs, golf clubs.....and on and on! Having stopped at several to enjoy great meals, we visited the Port Douglas Surf Life Saving Club. Situated just 50 meters from the ocean, there... More

We went here a couple of times on our last visit to Port Douglas and it is by far still the best value for money food in Port. Great setting, terrific service, cold beer, fantastic food, what more could you want. Try the coral trout tacos, pork buns or prawn sushi rolls. These are our favourites.

Great spot by the beach, reasonably priced and good food and drinks. A very quick walk from the beach and our hotel when we visited a few days ago which suited us nicely! Great for lunch/dinner/drinks!

This was an unexpected star spot to eat. Very low-key, roomy and open with a view of the sea. The food was absolutely delicious and excellent value. A definite place to go for a great value, sensational meal with no fuss.

And when they shut, that is it! Not a very wide ranging menue, more than adequate for one occasion. Food was very good and served promptly.

The two dishes we selected were mussels and another seafood dish that both appeared to look both the same being in silver bowls covered in a tomatoe based sauce type soup it was so bad we ordered another meal which was a fish of the day which was dry and served with a poor rocket type salad
