This is what I call an excellent coffee. I would not even try any other place in the area. They sell coffee not food. Hopefully we will return to Port Douglas to have another long black and flat white.

Thanks, Origin, for providing my daily coffee fix in a laid back setting away from the shopping crowds. Great double shot latte every time!

My partner and I are locals. We use origin coffee as a delicacy and a treat for ourselves with their coffee sliding down smooth as silk! Originally from Adelaide we would say it was the best coffee we have ever had this far. The last two days, however, we have found the coffee to be slightly bitter or maybe burnt.... More

I ordered coffee from smiling staff, took my number to a table in the greenery, chatted to a friendly local, drank great coffee (soy capp) from a turquoise cup & went back the next day for a repeat experience. Simply pleasurable.

Having been here a few times, I would definitely recommended the short blacks. Pretty much on par to what we we get down here. Worth a go, check it out.

The coffee was consistently good although the roast didn't suit my husband's preferred taste - it was still well made coffee. The teas were good for a coffee focussed place. However the best parts were the home made cakes and biscuits - apparently they're family recipes. Please do a cookbook!!.
