Description: Re-opening of an iconic Port Douglas pie shop which closed for some years recently. Was possibly the best known pie shop in Australia due to the unique meat pie filling recipe. Now re-opened by Nigel Quinn using the original and still secret pie filling recipe formulated by Mocka Cheyne and his mother Belle Cheyne. We thought we would finish our Australia Day long weekend in Port Douglas with a "famous" Mocka's pie And we weren't disappointed!! How patriotic to be eating a kangaroo pie on Australia Day One of the best pies I've ever had

Delicious! My husband had two and went back for a third. I enjoyed my first potato pie of 2015 and would rank it amongst the best pies I have ever eaten - including Pie in the Sky and Robertson's Pies. I don't think I can give it a higher recommendation than that!

DELICIOUS pies, locally made. a Port Douglas institution. The Mockas Supreme is my favorite pie. great for when you might be a bit hungover. Great service, friendly staff. A must do for a cheap delish lunch in Port Douglas

living in sydney you get use to being gauged, don't like it but that's sydney. this place gives sydney a run for its money on price sadly. food average, nice service but just so expensive. a shame!

We decided after seeing all the reviews on here that we had to stop and have a pie before we left PD. So yesterday (our last day) we grabbed a pie each. I got the Shepherds Pie and my bf got Steak & Mushroom. We both were pretty disappointed with them. We had high expectations after all the rave reviews,... More

I had the sea food pie, best seafood pie I've tasted. Lots of seafood chunks and great taste, no wonder they've go so many awards.

Based on the reviews on TA we dropped in to grab a kids pie. We also bought both Crocodile and Kangaroo pies! Pies were nothing short of outstanding - real meat, cooked to perfection and no fatty pieces. If you love a pie, do drop in and grab a classic beef pie or indulge your tastebuds and grab a Coat... Good simple tasty fresh pies. There was a very wide variety of pies to choose from along with sandwiches, toasties, croissants and many different types of fresh bread. You can have all food to take away or eat in!

Nice little spot in Port Douglas that gets very busy around lunch time. For a cheap alternative to lunch dining, pies are always a good idea. However the quality was not as good as my expectations, but they were still tasty.
