Both lunch and dinner were amazing experiences. The food on both occasions had such superb flavours. Loved the scallops - some of the best I have tasted. The dinner of risotto did not disappoint as well.

Although this one had some bad reviews i thought i would try for myself - over priced & I left feeling hungry. I had the veal scalopini that looked like stew with about 6 beans & 3 tiny rice balls.

Thanks for your review however misleading I have found it. Reading your other reviews it is quite obvious that you like quantity & in turn perceived quality. The Veal we use is of top quality, the back strap ( 180g per portion), the Arancini balls are made from the best imported Italian Carnaroli rice I can buy with our beans... More

I found this gem by chance.Decided to try it for lunch and chose from the set lunch menu.I started with calimari which was divine and had the reef fish to follow...one of the best fish and chips I have had and you get a free beer or wine....great value.

Bel Cibo came highly recommended. All started well, food was divine, we had pancetta pizza, handmade pappardelle and linguini tutti mare. One guest can't eat olives or cheese, we asked for it to be taken out of he dish, no problem we were told. Well they got the cheese right, however the dish was full of olives. When we advised... Thanks for your review. It;s very disappointing to sit down after a 13 hour day to read complaints that we didn't get our water filled up enough times. I mean really, is this what it comes down too now! As for olives being put in a dish that had requested there be none I apologise, but mistakes happen & we... More

We had 5 days in Port Douglas and eat at Bel Cibo twice. The food was fantastic especially the Linguine Agilo, I am still thinking about it. The service was very good both times we were there. We did not make a booking however we were seated on the balcony people watching on the main street. I have tried to... More

This restaurant is situated in a superb location on a mezzanine floor in the Main Street. The food was good quality if a little pricey. The service was slightly too pushy for me. I prefer to decide when I want to pour another glass of wine.

Thanks for your review & we are glad to hear you enjoyed the food & wine. If the waiter is offering to pour your wine & your not ready for a glass then let them know. I had friends over for dinner at home last week & my friend's wife didn't want anymore wine so she told me when I... More

If I could rate this a 3.5, I would! We shared a pizza for our entree, and then watched as the two tables either side of us received mains even though they'd both ordered after us. Whilst we were having a risotto and pasta respectively, and it may have been that these take longer to prepare than the dishes the... More

Thanks for your review. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the food & our apologies for the time taken between your drinks. As for offering pepper & parmesan this is entirely up to the individual & isn't something we ask each & every customer. We have confidence that the chefs have seasoned the dishes adequately & parmesan is on the... More

Would have to be one of our favourites. Unfortunately the last couple of visits to PD our timing was off and it was closed. Couldn't wait to come back and were not disappointed. Sat right near balcony and watched main street action. Pleasant spot to while away the afternoon. Bottle of wine and crab linguine for both of us. Way... More

My husband and I could not fault this place. The food, staff, atmosphere and value for money were all amazing. My husband said the barramundi with gnocchi was the BEST meal he has ever had. We ate out at five different places whilst in port douglas and this wins hands down. Its a pity we only found this place on... More

My girlfriend and I, were looking for a nice place to have a late lunch on sunday. We chose this restaurant because the location, terrace on the first floor and the facade were great. I really liked the atmosphere and the decoration of the restaurant: classy and romantic, moreover, the waiter was nice and professional. It was the best gnocchi... More
