We had a couple of very nice meals here. Very friendly place to have a meal, good food, good service and not expensive. Rather nice to have a table looking out at the river and seeing the boats go past

We dined as a group of 6. The food was OK - nothing outstanding, probably what you would expect at a pub. Service was fine. Great location on the water.

This is located right on the waters edge which is lovely. Food is good - nothing outstanding but not disappointing either. Reasonably priced.

Went to Tin shed on our recent trip to Port Douglas....not what it used to be! Waited 40 minutes for entree and another 40 minutes for mains....very disappointing our meal was luke warm and very soggy chips...no excuses, yes they have a massive turn over ..it is simple fare and should be present well. Just cashing in on a past... More

Make the time to go down to the Tin Shed around 4pm, watch the boats come in as the sun sets over the inlet, then hang around to enjoy a meal.

By far the greatest spot in Port Douglas (maybe the world) to watch the sunset with a cold beer in hand. Casual dining with rock classics of the Janis Joplin era by a cool Maori couple with a great voice and a laid back style "FingerPrint" by name. She had the reef fish -very fresh and tasty. I had baby... More

Right on the water - very relaxing. We had Barramundi which was very dry and quite tasteless which was disappointing. Lots of families - I imagine it would be quite affordable for families, as opposed to some of the more expensive eateries.

Location = Amazing. Not only is this restaurant / bar in beautiful Port Douglas, but it is on the water looking out toward tinnies and yachts sailing past and you might have a sea breeze waving the palm trees in the adjacent park. Booze = does the job with a pub, rsl type bar. Food = ATROCIOUS. APPALLING. Taste is... More

When in Port Douglas a predinner drink and/or dinner at the tin shed is a must. From 4:30 PM onwards and for the next hour you can watch the reef tour boats returning to Port Douglas. The meals are what I would call good quality pub food. Do not forget to take your sunglasses on a sunny evening as the... More
