Enjoyed this place so much we went back twice. Easy walk from sea temple resort. Lovely food both nights. Great service and entertaining musician. Such a casual atmosphere with its outside sand floor. Don't be put off by quiet daytime "shack" appearance. This place is a must for casual dining!

We had dinner here and it was a really fun night! The food was great, fantastic service and a laid back relaxed atmosphere, with a one man band playing in the background. You can dress up or shorts and T-shirt, you won't feel out of place in either. I loved it and would definitely go back.

Came upon this place by chance on a Friday night and were lured in by the great music being played live by a talented musician. Very glad we went here as it turned out to be our best dining experience in Port Douglas by far. I had a delicious fish curry and hubby had the steak special which was also... More

What a great little bar and restaurant in the middle of nowhere, ( houses all around ) sand on the floor and obviously a locals place. The prawn pizza was fantastic, the original thin bases, went back twice, if you want 5 star dining don't go here. But if you want a great night out at reasonable prices then this... More

Was at Port Douglas what seems like years ago! This place has tasty food in a very casual atmosphere. Not top shelf french food, but pretty good all the same. I would go back if I'm ever in Port Douglas again. Friendly staff.

It was Sunday evening after a big day of sightseeing and touristy stuff, and not wanting to cook OR get dressed up to go out, we decided to phone up and order take-away pizza from The Beach Shack. We weren't disappointed to say the least. The service was excellent, prompt and friendly. The pizzas were excellent with plenty of toppings... More

After walking the Four Mile Beach we stopped at The Beach Shack for a coffee. Excellent service including water for the table while we waited for. Coffee was great as was the atmosphere - open air seating, cool breezes, virtually on the beach.

A reasonably priced family restaurant. There was some mixed opinions about the food. The fish was excellent but the pizzas were average. The service was prompt and friendly
