Description: Harrisons Restaurant exists in a setting that is made for romance and fun...
Harrisons Restaurant exists in a setting that is made for romance and fun. The colonial style house and colourful gardens create a wonderful atmosphere for cocktails, romantic dinners and celebratory events. Food is skillfully created using produce that is always fresh and preferrably local. Spencer Patrick, owner of Harrisons, has navigated Harrisons as an award winning restaurant since it's inception in 2007. Harrisons has consistently held national accolades for it's food and wine and stands alone as Port Douglas' only One Hat rated restaurant in the QLD Good Food Guide. Spencer's style draws from his training in classic French cuisine and love for all things English. Amazing Food

Harrisons is one of the most amazing restaurant experiences I have ever had. The service was impeccable and the food was spectacular right from starters, the beef share main and the banana and milk desert - 5+ stars

Only two sittings, the first at 6pm and the second at 8pm neither suitable. Requested even 6.30 would be better that 6 to no avail. So we were the first to arrive and seated on the end of a long row of seats for two people. We asked if we could move over to the front balcony area and were... More

Despite some friendly staff and good ambience, we walked away from Harrisons with a sour taste in our mouth. My mother had the curried Kingfish dish which was on the specials. It looked good on paper but she could only eat half of it due to a lack of flavour. It was a big let down for her, particularly when... More

Dined here for the Adrian Richardson Big Taste promotion last Friday. A full house, so communal tables were the only option in the small setting. Service was perfect, I have not experienced better in 50 years. The set courses were diverse but the slow cooked lamb shoulder was not correctly seasoned for my taste. Top points to the winemakers, the... More

Came here for my birthday & had such a great experience. Up there with one of my favourite restaurants. Entree was amazing (especially the warm olives), shared the fish potage which was great, and dessert was melt in your mouth delicious. Loved the outdoor setting underneath the trees looking out towards the water. Service was great too.

The menu sounded really nice and the setting was lovely but our evening was let down by terrible service. It's been a long time since I've felt that uncomfortable in a restaurant... It started with small things, like taking ages to get menus and order drinks, our water bottle sitting empty for ages, not being able to get the attention... More

We booked lunch on Monday 24th August via this restaurant's own website and received a successful booking confirmation for 1pm for 2 people... We therefore drove from Cairns (70kms) to have lunch here only to be told in person by one of their staff members as we walked up the restaurant's steps that there was a problem with their online... Harrison's is one of the best two restaurants in Port Douglas. The decor is a bit like sitting in "Raffles". The tables are on decking and seem to be engulfed by two very large old Mango Trees. The food is first class and delivered by quality friendly staff. The slowed cooked Lamb Shoulder is beautiful. It falls of the bone,... More

Food was really good, bouillabaisse could have been a bit hotter, but flavours & textures were there. Service was informative but perhaps a little more attentive. Overall though, a great experience, definitely recommend going when here.

We had our best meal at Harrisons. Probably the most attractive venue in Port Douglas. The service provided by the knowledgeable Laurence was appreciated. Food was excellent, we loved everything we had. Hoped to return for dinner but didnt manage to.
