Description: Harrisons Restaurant exists in a setting that is made for romance and fun. The colonial style house and colourful gardens create a wonderful atmosphere for cocktails, romantic dinners and celebratory events. Food is skillfully created using produce that is always fresh and preferrably local. Spencer Patrick, owner of Harrisons, has navigated Harrisons as an award winning restaurant since it's inception in 2007. Harrisons has consistently held national accolades for it's food and wine and stands alone as Port Douglas' only One Hat rated restaurant in the QLD Good Food Guide. Spencer's style draws from his training in classic French cuisine and love for all things English. His belief is that good food can be enjoyed any where in the world, but what better place to enjoy it than in Paradise!

We got the crispy pig ear, lamb shoulder and cauliflower side - it was all really amazing! The highlight was the crispy pig ear and the cauliflower given its uniqueness.

We took a dear friend for a belated birthday dinner here last week and despite few changes to the menu the same quality, value, and obvious passion goes into the food. For starters two of us had the Sashimi of the day which was Salmon and exceptionally fresh and delicious. Our guests had the Malt Roasted Scallops which she reported... More

I love the vibe of Harrison's - its very plantation vibe with a large decked area and wooden ceilings. Food was amazing and I even rated it better than Nautilus. The service was lovely and it wasn't whisper quiet like Nautilus so you could feel like having a conversation. I think this is down to that fact that Harrison doesn't... More

A friendly restaurant who are eager to take your booking and appreciate your business is something I'd like to acknowledge here.. Our waiter/s showed an interest in our drinks/ meal choices and were passionate about what they were serving. My partner and I both had the chef's tasting special, plus a serving of duck. 7 courses each in total, plus... More

Absolutley fabulous meal, we could not fault this restaurant in anyway, beautiful setting and great service from Gavin, who was very informative about the meals and took great pride in his work and the restaurant. We went for dinner as we were in Port Douglas for a 5 day holiday break. The meals looked like art work when they arrived,... More

My partner and I opted for the 6 course tasting menu for it had variety and was a valued price of $85. Each course was perfectly balanced in flavour and texture and you could feel the love and effort that went into each beautifully presented plate. Service was exceptional, professional yet friendly. Thank you Harrison's for making our trip to... More

We went here on our last night in Australia so we wanted something special and we were not disappointed. We chose the tasting menu and although I'm not a massive fan of fish I loved every course. The cocktails are also lovely.

You don't mind paying a little extra for a great meal. Tasty and well cooked. Menu is a little limited but would cater for most tastes. We were lucky to get in on a Saturday night without a booking but I would advise booking if more than 2. Drinks are a little expensive but the quality was there. I had... More

After reading that Harrison's had a "hat" we were excited to dine here. Very disappointed in the service / timing of food. Unsure if it was an issue in the kitchen or the server forgot to put in our order. When our disappointment was brought to the staff's attention, nothing was done. Very disappointing :(
