Amazing Lunch!

My husband and I were in Port Douglas as part of our honeymoon. My husband is a chef and had already heard about the restaurant so we made a point of going down for lunch one day. We weren't disappointed. We ordered their slow cooked lamb to share, for $55 it seemed really reasonably priced as it... read more

A great spot in Port Douglas with a beautiful deck. We choose the tasting menu which is highly recommendable. However to enjoy the tasting menu do factor in at least 3 hours, as wait times between courses can blow out during busy service times. In all a good experience, good wines and great food.

Not only did this restaurant have a pleasant surrounding with attentive service the Tasting Menu was wonderful and not to miss. I would certainly recommend Harrison's at Port Douglas.

We went on two occasions...once for brunch on Sunday....was very good and service was good too...on that basis we decided to book for dinner later in the week. The food was very good but let down by the service - the pretentious Maitre'D was irritating...he poured water allo over the table when filling my wife's glass and they just disappeared... More

My wife and I visited Harrison's for lunch recently and we were a little underwhelmed. We cannot fault the flavours or presentation but my main was way too small. It was the size of an entree or one course of a degustation. The service although good seemed a little rehearsed and not natural. This restaurant is just a couple of... More

Fantastic food. Delightful staff. Great environment. The menu made it hard to choose from with so many lovely dishes... we will have to return!

We have visited your restaurants many times over the years since you're opening and have found no fault whatsoever. This time we were there with a group of friends (Their first visit and all of us have spent many years in hospitality including the owner of a local resort & day spa). The food was to its normal standards unfortunately... More

Harrison's was recommended to us so we were looking forward to an excellent meal. The setting is lovely but I think we may have hit the chef on a bad night. I ordered the fish which was on the specials and was really looking forward to it but five minuets later the waitress advised that the chef had just informed... More

What a shame, I ordered a fish special that had just started on the menu that day. It was dry and over cooked, I politely sent it back and was told that they apologised and could they cook me another one. Given we had a babysitter, we did not have time to wait for another main to be cooked, besides... More
