Terrible. So disappointing for our first meal out in Pt Douglas. Paella was more like a store bought seafood rice microwave bake & the linguine was about as good as 2 minute noodles with some seafood mixed in. Bottled water was $10.95 & a glass of house wine was $10. The garlic bread.. I think somebody may have forgot the... More

This was our first meal out in Port Douglas. We started with the scallops special - 6 scallops crumbled (breadcrumbs and parmesan) served on their shells - very tender and delicious (they actually came from Hervey Bay). My husband had the fresh fish which was wide mouth Nannygai, which we had not heard of before, but were told it was... More

We arrived at around 7pm and were shown to our pe-booked table only to be told that they had run out of oysters and reef fish. That should have set off alarm bells straight away, what seafood restaurant runs out of oysters and fish? We ordered two bread entrees from the specials board and after waoting 45 minutes they finally... More

we were relatively late at around 20:30. (Australia goes to bed early). no problem serving us. Food was very good and appeared reasonably quickly. 2 minutes from our accomodation, which also helped.

Nothing complicated or over the top here. Just adherence to the principle that quality food and ingredients don't need to be over complicated to produce an enjoyable dining experience. Beautifully fresh fish, barramundi and a fresh reef fish whose name escapes me at the moment. Perhaps nanagai but not sure on that. That said, both fish were perfectly cooked, simply... More

Unfortunately a poor experience all round - we waited 40 minutes for our entrée, which was bread with olive oil! Then another 40 minutes went by waiting for our mains - a medium steak and a linguini marinara no garlic no onion and you guessed it - the steak was well done and the marinara had garlic and onion. Maybe... More

Celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary with a beautiful meal at Finz so glad we chose this restaurant as our meals were excellent. The staff were exceptional even bringing us a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate our special day.Recommend the oysters and fish curry both were delicious. Will defiantly go back.

We enjoyed the food in the restaurant. The service was very good. The dishes are pretty small if you order the 20-30AUD dishes. The other dishes are relatively expensive. The location is in a remote street. Not in the center or by the sea.

Thank you for your review, however I believe that you have written about a different restaurant. Firstly, our meals are well-priced in comparison to other restaurants in Port Douglas. Secondly, being located right on the main street of town, diagonally opposite the Port Douglas Post Office, we are definitely are not in a remote street. Hopefully TA will take this... More

Great experience. Enjoyed our meal and evening very much. Catered for kids and that is a big plus and delivered our sons meal before ours, another big plus. Lovely setting. Thank you and we will be back.

Almost two hrs forty five minutes for a starter and mains is obviously a disaster but we actually enjoyed our evening. The food, when it did arrive, was excellent. There is a great buzz about the place and the waitress and maitre d both did their best and repeatedly apologised. "Chef is really having a bad night". It's on the... More
