If you go to Cairns, you have to try the food here. Situated on The Esplanade in the middle of Cairns, the food is irresistible and the service matches the food and the location.

We are a party of 4 in Cairns on a work assignment for a week. Went in on our 1st night and it was a very busy restaurant. We were quickly seated and service was good. Surprised to find out that 3 out of 4 of us are pasta lovers and so it was pasta we ordered for mains. We... More

Six of us ate here one night and we were all disappointed, pasta had no taste, main meals were all small servings, pizzas were really nice, however this place is expensive. However if you take your pizzas away they are a lot cheaper, so we did that on several nights.

Ate at this restaurant twice in one week. The staff actually remembered that I had eaten there 4 days earlier and even what I had ordered. The food was excellent ( signature pasta dish) the wine was well priced and the staff attentive, even when the place was full. Highly recommend to visit here in Cairns.

Ate here after a day of diving so we were absolutely exhausted and thrilled that our order came out so quickly. Both my husband and I had pizzas which were very good and filling. We ate outside and the ambiance was nice.

Despite a recommendation from a knowledgeable friend we found this restaurant unremarkable and just adequate. On this evening the staff were very busy and rushed. On a number of occasions we had to ask repeatedly for things. While the cost was ok, the food was nothing special. However the wine list was ok. In particular the toilet arrangements were very... Villa Romana is in an excellent location on Restaurant Row and has a good feel to it. We enjoyed our meal very much, perhaps a little overpriced in some areas, but generally felt it was a good evening out and enjoyed both the food and service; it was very busy, even on a Tuesday evening so pays to book and... Dinner at the request of our grand-daughter with authentic fetticine. What a great choice. From Surf and Turf, lamb cutlets, stuffed chicjen breast and pasta...all mains were cooked to perfection and to top it off they served a sticky date pudding with a sparkler to make 1 birthday girl feel very special. Definitely worth it....
