After having a drink at the bar for half an hour, a waitress took us to our table and ordered a lovely bottle of Riesling grosset polish hill. We did have a reservation but we arrived early. The table was ready on time. The bottle took a little while to reach us which gave us an occasion to select our... More

loved the whole meal and the satay sauces . We had the $69 banquet which had many taste testers on it. The service was great and they speak indo. Very authentic. Would go here again and again if I could.

Great Indonesian food at Bayleaf (Bay Village hotel). Make reservations, espacially during the weekends. Food tastes great and a lot to choose. Prices are accordingly.

They offer a great tasting menu for a reasonable price. The service was professional and the food delicious from appetizer to dessert. Many of the flavors were subtle but very enjoyable and unusual. We were glad we arrived early as it is a popular venue and was very crowded by the time we left.

Food was overpriced and bland. Maybe the chefs have changed, but we were not impressed and the service certainly didn't make up for it.

My partner and I decide to try Bay leaf last night due to the good review and rating, but the truth is that it was an unpleasant experience. In hot, humid weather, we sat outside waited 15 mins with no service. My partner had to go inside and ask for it, we were given two small glasses but no jug... More

This is a bit of a walk from where we stayed on south esplanade but the flavours were more than worth it. The night got off to a great start with some complimentary prawn crackers served with a fantastic sambal. We ordered the rijsttafel with matching wines. At $69 pp this is amazing value. The quality is great and with... More

We ordered the "Rijsttafel" menu (banquet) for 2 people and the food is just incredible! The price is also worthed with the portion of the food. Really recommend to try the selection of the Satay (chicken, pork, or lilit) and also the coconut water with lime for the beverage, really beautiful!! The customer service is really great! More than my... More
