Had a lunch set there which was excellent. Service was good and the satay sticks are served on a small charcoal brazier along with the curries. Beautiful flavor..

The food is really good. Add to that the nice ambiance and very friendly and efficient service. Definitely worth a visit if you are in cairns.

The chef Pak Made has certainly done his hometown proud! The food is truly fantastic. In fact, we went to the restaurant twice while on a one week family vacation in Cairns. Expectedly, it can be full especially on Friday night and weekends. Service can be rather high-nosed though and in that sense, not quite Balinese.

We hadn't made a reservation and the restaurant was busy but they fitted us in without fuss. The food was good as was the service. We enjoyed the duck curry and the fish of the day (mahi mahi) - both really tasty and well cooked The starter sate skewers were not so nice but my husband enjoyed his tapioca pudding... More

We came by this restaurant early and were able to get a table but I recommend making reservations. The music and decorations adds to the ambiance. The food was really good. I do not like spicy food and I found it to be too spicy. I usually ask for the "mild" version of spicy food but I didn't think it... More

Make a reservation to ensure a seat in this very popular restaurant. We were lucky as early diners to be given the only one table left on a Friday evening. We enjoyed delicious authentic Indonesian/Balinese meals. Generous serves beautifully presented .the venue décor is delightful Balinese. The staff were friendly and efficient. A reasonable selection of wine and beer. I... More

We chose to dine at this place due to the proximity to the Rydges esplanade we were staying at and also the great reviews. Huge fans of thai food we have never tried balinese and we absolutely loved the different flavors. The presentation of the food was excellent. The service was only average waiting ages for the beer we had... More

This is a really nice restaurant with great food at a reasonable price. I ate here whilst staying at the Bay Village Retreat, where the resturant is located. I would liked to have had more meals here during my stay but unfortunately the menu didn't appeal to my wife, who has a fairly non-adventurous diet. I ad a Balinese chicked... More

One Friday night we went in for dinner with no booking but were turned away. We did book for the following week and glad we did! Curries are flavorsome and filling. The atmosphere is great and can get busy. Good location for easy off street parking. Only downside is getting the attention if the busy busy waiters to order food... More
