This one was on the recommendation of both my brother and sister and what can I say? they got it totally right. One of the best Italian restaurants I have eaten in - service was great and only matched by the food - well done.

If you want authentic Italian food and plenty of it, go no further. Delicious food, great service and value for money. Great spot,to sit and watch the world go by as you dine on fine cuisine packed full of flavour. The service we received was first rate and the food arrived hot and smelt fantastic, mouth watering.

Having arrived in Cairns from Port Douglas, via Atherton and Kuranda, we needed a good value Italian meal without too much fuss. A local shopkeeper recommended this restaurant and it was a good find. Very busy, as one would expect, good "home cooked" pasta, we were happy. I enjoyed an entrée of lasagne and my husband had a nice fettuccine... More

We went there last Saturday night, the 2nd of August for our daughter's birthday. The food was excellent and because I couldn't eat a particular food in the sauce, the owner said the sauces were made fresh and could be made to my liking. The staff were warm and friendly. We really enjoyed it, a perfect evening.

On hearing great reviews, decided to give it a shot. The owner/manager was pushy, quite rude and very bossy to his staff,to which they were doing the best they could and were clearly embarressed, which was very uncomfortable. The restaurant was squashy and a bit grubby and outdated..The meals were pricey, but enjoyable..Probably wouldnt go back..

Had a good night there with a big bunch of friends. It is always difficult to judge a restaurant in such circumstances, but they performed admirably. The staff were very attentive to all the kids. Their knowledge of Italian wines was great.

Visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday (Thursday night) and was pleasantly surprised. My friend and I had no booking but found a table for two immediately. Our two main meals came within 10 minutes and the taste was phenomenal. Tried the Spaghetti Mare E Monti - The sea and the mountains – a sautée of prawns, mushrooms, shallots,... More

Great food and great service even on a busy Saturday night. My Amatriciana was amongst the best I've had for quite a while and my wife's risotto was rich but maybe just a little heavy. Recommended for a good night out.

Make a booking, this place was packed on a Tuesday night! I had dinner with friends and it was fantastic! We had the bruschetta to share for entree. Bruschetta is a hard one to make look good since it's just chopped tomato on some bread, and it looked ok at La Fettuccina, but it tasted fantastic! The quality of the... More
