Went there for lunch and ordered the signature dish pork knuckles. i reckon it must have been in the oven for a week. Hard baked shell and once the bone removed not much meat. Mashed potatoes awful and sourkraut, no greens or salad. For the price paid disgusting rip off.

Waited 50 minutes for a basic breakfast. Terrible service, forgot about bringing out drinks had to go up after 40 minutes and ask for the juice. A bacon and egg burger came out without BACON...?? Never again...would not recommend.

We went here after our scuba diving trip to meet and ended up staying here all night. They have a wide selection of German beers on tap plus bottled stuff for those not wanting to be adventurous. Ended up drinking the 1 litre beers all night and felt a little rough the next day. At roughly $15-$18 for a litre... More

We wanted to try some where different for dinner and this was it. A few people mentioned the beers were expensive, but we didn't think so. We had a pizza, it was massive. I shared it with 2 children and it was more than ample. My husband had a pork dish, yum although the sauerkraut was a letdown. Beers were... More

Good range of beers. Night time atmosphere was festive. Visitors are treated to Octoberfest entertainment and participation is encouraged. Relaxed, beer guzzling, friendly crowds ONLY please. Loved the staff outfits (where can I get a dirndl??), but wished the MC had a German accent!

We dined there a few months ago and we heard the manager argue with the patrons close to us. I would say he was a very arrogant and insulting person. The lady left in tears and the manager was laughing as she left. The food wasn't very good either. It came out stone cold and the schnitzel was like rubber.... More

Stopped in for lunch, barramundi on a salad, wonderful fresh local produce with a clean delicate flavour. A little taste of the tropics. Friendly staff made this a great place to dine, with nice views of the esplanade.

Ate here with a big group of Pro-Divers and had a great time. They reserved a few tables for us and since everyone ordered at the bar, we could come and go as we pleased. My husband and I ordered the Veal wienerschnitzel which was cooked Vienna style and really amazing. The local also served franciscana beer, my husband’s favorite... More

We spent 4 days in Cairns and stopped in here all 4 days. My husband is the beer lover in our family and he enjoyed the different choices of German beers, all of which we very good. We enjoyed a dinner here but not a German one. We decided on their hamburger; it was cooked to perfection. I think their... More

Beer was nice although a little expensive. Meals were huge but were a bit bland and were not all that great.
