Huge meals, divinely prepared, taste like heaven. Staff went out of thier way to cater to multiple food intolerances. Just a wonderful rating experience.,

Yummy food- not as spicy as we were expecting but could have ordered it if we wanted. Huge serves! Nice atmosphere and not too busy with very prompt service.

We live in Yorkeys and thought we would go out for a quick meal, Usually we go Into Cairns but decided to dine at LANs. Unfortunately a bad decision. I hadn't taken a handbag just slipped a card into my pocket. NO EFTPOS on a scrappy bit of paper attached to the wall so was informed to go to the... More

Lans in Cairns has recently opened another restaurant of the same name in Yorkeys Knob on the Cairns northern beaches - gave it a try. Hmm, inviting menu, very reasonable drink/wine prices (incl BYO) - then it all went down hill. The white wine we ordered was available, but hadn't been put in the fridge, but was still brought to... Had 2 evening meals here and enjoyed both. My stir fry chicken & vegetables was good, crunchy but hot veg and nice light sauce. Prices (for Australia) are reasonable, their stock of wines appears limited as on both occasions they didn't have the one we first ordered but not really a problem. Staff were friendly and service was good.

Had a reasonable lunch here, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very very quiet which we like, but may not do a roaring trade. But fairly average presentation.

This place looks good. The beers are cheap. The meals very average. The options of Vietnamese/ Chinese/ Malaysian don't see any real trend on the menu and its all somewhat over the place. I love Vietnamese but this was sadly a let down. I dined with 3 colleagues, only 1 rated their meal (Barramundi) above average. The rest were all... More

I'm a local, so all about supporting the local food scene. I live nearby from Lans and I think it would be great if I could order a takeaway to pickup. No. Can. Do!! Either the phone isn't answered or constant busy signal. Between Trip Advisor, Telstra and their business card - no success. Three times in 5 weeks has... More

We were staying at the Cairns Discovery hotel and decided to visit Lan's after watching the Cairns Festival Parade with friends. We found the quality of food to be excellent and the staff very polite and helpful. We had no difficulty finding a table as the restaurant was about half full - it looked that way when ever we passed... More
