Brilliant location overlooking the marina. Visited Al Porto for brunch twice during a recent trip to Cairns - with mixed results. During the first visit I had the big breakfast which was greasy and not particularly hot or pleasant. The second visit proved much more successful and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Wifey enjoyed her meal on both occasions. My... More

Had breakfast here one day before work and found it ok for the price and service was quick. Just note that this is right beside the reef booking centre so can get busy if you are running short of time

Right at the marina, this place is great to get a solid meal in before you head out on the ocean adventures. Takes credit cards!

My husband and I had breakfast here this morning and were both disappointed. The meals were way overpriced for the quality of produce. For $18 your get square supermarket white bread, canned baked beans and average cooked eggs. My husband was very unimpressed with his watery coffee. The location is good, but not worth the $$$.

We were heading out from the Reef Terminal so, having seen this the evening before whilst strolling the boardwalk, we thought it the most convenient place for breakfast. Worried about my seasickness I decided to simply have toast. However I chose the freshly sqeezed pineapple juice crusher to drink and it was sensational. Needing to enjoy another crusher we decided... More

My husband and I are not hard to please but this was hands down the worst breakfast we have ever had the misfortune of paying for. I ordered poached eggs on toast - the toast was cold and your standard $1 white square loaf from Coles, and my poached eggs were clearly reheated in the microwave as they were so... More

Everything is great from here, the service, the view and the food. My favourites are the pasta, home made biscotti and the coffee.

I usually visit Al portos at least once a month and I have never had such a bad experience as I did the last time I visited. I went with my family and it started with the main lady who took the orders she was rude shouting out if she can help anyone very abruptly 3 times whilst we were... More

Came here for Sunday brekky before a splash in the Lagoon. I ordered the potato, capsicum and spinach omlette and it was delicious! A really generous size omelette, plenty of fillings and topped with a good smothering of melted cheese. Hubby ordered the big brekky and it was also very nice. A pleasant spot to sit & relax for breakfast... More

We visited for breakfast. Nothing more than very average in our opinion. Eggs were fine, toast was two pieces of your standard square loaf. Coffee was lukewarm and probably the worst we've had anywhere. It was on the expensive side too. Wouldn't go back or recommend it unless average food presented in a basic way is what you're after.
