We visited for breakfast. Nothing more than very average in our opinion. Eggs were fine, toast was two pieces of your standard square loaf. Coffee was lukewarm and probably the worst we've had anywhere. It was on the expensive side too. Wouldn't go back or recommend it unless average food presented in a basic way is what you're after.

Being next to the wharf terminal places this place in a great position. Ordered some banana pancakes and an Ozzie breakfast. The pancakes were nice, and the breakfast was as expected. So if you want a safe option, you could do worse than coming here. One downside was that they charge an extra 2% for all credit cards so watch... More

Had lunch here on Sunday 5th January with my husband. It's a great location opposite the water with alfresco dining. There's always something to see while sitting having lunch. Nice service on the waitress. We enjoyed the Calamari with a nice salad. We had entree size which was more than enough. We had desserts too, I had the three scoops... More

We ate at Al Porto 3 times during our stay, and made sure it was our farewell breakfast spot before reluctantly boarding the plane home. The food - the menu is huge, very diverse. Every meal we had there was top notch - and when you ask for extra bacon in place of eggs in the big breakfast, you really... More

We had a couple of great gourmet burgers with a coffee & a nice banana smoothie. Friendly service & food delivered quickly. Good to look out to the boats. Not many restaurants open nearby at the Pier on a Sunday although there seemed to be a number of people about. Happy to stumble upon Al Porto & will be going... More

Had a tremendous breakfast here, sitting in the dappled sun looking over the Marlin Wharf. Prices are fine at about $18 for breakfast with pretty much all you could want and prompt service. It is a well located spot without pretence. Try it!

Food here is ok. Easy for a bite to eat before or after the ferry, not too unreasonable price wise either.
