My partner and I came as tourists to Carins, wanted to 'eat where the locals eat' and find somewhere that wasn't in the main tourist strip (thank you Urbanspoon) and something to soak up our red-eye flight hangovers. Think we just about picked the best place in Cairns... Took us a little while to find because it is down an... More

Only had takeaway coffee at this place and find it very average, atmosphere and staff friendness is alright, wouldn't go back again just for coffee.

We had breakfast here and first off the attitude of the waitress was that everything was too much effort. Then we didn't receive what we ordered and the coffee was fine for the first half of the cup but the second half had a sour taste and was undrinkable. The tea we ordered was luke warm. The food was a... More

Ignore the horrible art and just enjoy a well prepared coffee they way it should be! The guy who owns this place is obsessed with coffee and has gone out of his way to find the best damn stuff in the region. The staff are also enthusiasts and always prepare the coffee just right!

These folks are passionate about what they do. Our server took the time to explain everything about their coffees... where they came from, the growing conditions, etc, etc. Clearly he is passionate about coffee but we saw it in the food too. The three of us had 3 different breakfast items each of which was delicious, beautifully presented and imaginative.... More

Amazing coffee, deliciously fresh breakfasts and lunches. Lots of locally sourced produce, very well prepared and presented. I visit here every time I go to Cairns.

This was the last place we visited before our flight home and we left the best till last. Coffee was so good I ordered two in quick succession. Shout out to the soya cappuccino with coconut caramel syrup. Still pining for it now. Breakfasts for 10 of us were all winners and we tried most of the menu. This will... More

Built my own breakfast, nice healthy options with a twist of traditional, poached eggs, spinach, tomato, pumpkin & nice toast. Great coffee with a kick, reasonable price for Australia - $40 AUD for 2 breakfasts, coffees (large) & fresh orange juice. Would recommend,

this is a cute cafe which we came across down an arty ally. Loved the feel of the place. I had the muesli which was presented beautifully, and a pot of chai - yum. Shame they don't have almond milk. Great service!
