You have got to try this place! Walking up to the front door you notice the crowd of people waiting for tables, but it moves fast - once seated, the service is incredible. They manage to serve quickly, but still make you feel very welcome. Food arrived in minutes. I had the Sunrise Ramen, my fiancé had the Mugen and... More

I have been here many times and recently took a friend. As soon as you step through the Noren curtain you almost feel like you could be in a suburb in Japan. It's a lively little place and the food is always good. One Japanese friend says it reminds her of Ramen from Fukuoka. I love the atmosphere and if... More

I loved this place, the ramen (noodle soup) was very tasty and the service was very good. It is a very popular place so make sure you go early in the afternoon. We went there twice for the tasty soup and dumplings :)

Fast and reasonable. Great soup, very polite friendly staff. I'm very happy. Open between 11:30 and 1500 for lunch, then 17:00 till 21:00.

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy! Well priced, fast and friendly service, authentic TASTY Japanese noodles and Goyza. This place gets really busy and it's only a tiny restaurant - but don't give up, go early or just pop back every 10 minutes till a table comes available. Once you have a table the service is fast and your meal is out in... More

Small little restaurant with a line up out the front so you know its AMAZING! In saying that I have never had to wait to long for a table. Service is very fast, efficient and friendly. If you love big soup noodle bowls and gyoza then you will love this place. #14 on the main menu is my favourite!

Dropped into Ganbaranba for a quick lunch. Service was quick and staff, friendly. Seemed to be a lot of Pork dishes on the menu. I ordered the Gen-ten ($11.95, price as at AUG 2014) and gyozas 5 for $5. While I was waiting for the meal, the free iced tea went down really well. Service was super fast. I was... More

We have Ippudo and Manpuku in Sydney so it won't be fair to compare. The soup was ok but a little too watery, lacking the heavy porky flavour. Their gyoza was ok but the fillings were dry-ish without any broth left.

Funny that this place seems to get such dirvergent reviews, either raves or hatred. We got to Cairns and randomly found this place. We didn't have super high expectations but the food was pretty good (extremely salty though) and pretty reasonably priced. It isn't the greatest Japanese food I've ever had but it was much better than most. For a... More
