Great ambience and excellent food

Went here for late lunch at about 1330hrs. You will find a chef in here who is very skilled in what he does. I went here hoping to taste the crispy duck, but it unfortunately not served during this season as they have seasonal menus. I went for the chicken at very top of the mains menu -haha... read more

Staying in Brisbane for a week or so, this place was recommended to us and we liked it so much we went twice. Lovely Coq au vin and Braised Beef Cheeks, warming winter comfort food done well. Interesting wine list too

We've been a few times in recent months as my husband loves their Lamb's Fry which he raves over and wants to keep going back for more. For those of us who don't like offal the rest of the menu is great. with the soy lime chicken breast and coconut risotto my favourite. The staff are very helpful and professional... More

Appears to be a French style bistro but food not up to standard - badly presented liver and bacon and ok fish. Very popular but not sure why - maybe location. Neither cheap nor expensive but am no rush to return. Felt a little penny pinching and if you are serving French food why is some bread to go with... More

Haven't been here for a while and it is still really good. Stuffed sardines, bruschetta, lamb salad and snapper with risotto washed down with a couple drinks. Recommended.

A popular restaurant in new farm, we had a great dinner out here. Average restaurant prices for dinner. $20 - $30 for mains and $10 desserts. Nice wine choices.

I was introduced to this restaurant by a friend and the friendship has further improved as a result. It's an intimate environment with French cafe style tables and seating. Conversation is easy in this setting and people were gathered in small groups, looking very much like this was a favorite meeting and eating place. Service was friendly, but unintrusive and... More

We returned after a few weeks and were pleased to notice the reliability and consistency of both service and food quality/presentation. Again the dessert was fantastic.
