What a delight it is to return to a place that you haven't been for a while and find it as good as or even better than remembered. Such a treat. A cold Friday evening after some great fun comedy at Powerhouse, we dropped by on spec and were lucky to get a table. We were much in need of... More

For months I agonised over where to go for our five year anniversary. Our entree of bread never arrived, so we were just brought our mains. I ordered steak whch was more like a pub rump that I didn't enjoy at all. My duck fat chips were unedible. My partner's pasta dish was alot nicer. We ordered desserts which were... More

Continental Café is great value for money. The food is excellent and the wines are reasonable whether by the glass or the bottle. When dining out these days one needs to feel that you are getting value and this Restaurant delivers every time. The menu is diverse and should meet everyone's needs. Parking is not a problem usually finding off... More

I have been to this restaurant a number of times over the past years and always find it to have great food and very good wine selection, including a number available by the glass. Staff are very friendly. There are good gluten free options and the kitchen staff were most accommodating in changing their dishes to cater for dietary requirements.... More

The Continental Consistently good - 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year order the same and you will get the same Under the same ownership for a number of years the quality standard has been maintained. The duck dish which consists of duck being presented 3 ways is amazing and being so good is the only dish I can coronet... More

The food was great, and servings were very generous, as was the service. House champagne for $7.50/glass, excellent. Enjoyed the sticky beef ribs, the meat fell off the bone followed by a delightful brulee. Nothing snobbish about this place, recommended.

Was taken by a friend who lives nearby. Had the chicken with lime risotto and was not disappointed, although asparagus and edamame salad was a bit thin in both. Great value and good choice of wines. Definitely worth a visit.

Odered the seafood risoto and the soy lime chicken breast. Both were very well made. Atmosphere is nice and cozy. Cheers!

This is not my first visit to the restaurant - I guess you could call me a regular visitor, monthly at least for the past 6 years. Every meal I have experienced here has been excellent, from the veggie menu to the regular dishes. Each ingredient has been specially chosen, works well with the other flavours on the dish, and... We came here on Easter Sunday as we were staying at Spices Balfour around the corner- we were not disappointed. We both ate the twice baked goat's cheese soufflé which was sublime. Mains were very pleasant too. Chocolate torte to finish was great. Strongly recommended!
