A good find

Great food as I mentioned before, fish specials are always just what you want. varied menu if thats not your thing, genuinely great European fresh food... something I really struggle to find in New Farm. Prices are mid-range and service is hit or miss at times, they seem to have new staff often, but overall it doesn't detract. I thoroughly... More

Amazed with the quality of the food and such a reasonable price. The dishes were ones that I had never tried with interesting combinations. Extremely yummy! I will be back for sure.

Very slow an service, in our group of six we had to get up twice for drinks an food. Menu was lacking creativity. The only decent entree of crab croquettes were unavailable and the steak was undercooked an fatty. We have had a better cut of steak at the brunswicknhotel for $15. $35 for undercooked an grisly meat was not... More

We decided on The Continental Cafe for a family meal after reading the good reviews. It was a pleasant little bistro which was busy without being overbearing. The service was prompt although I thought a little scatty with out waitress forgetting drinks and give food to the wrong people. The food was good without being exceptional at the price range.... I love this restaurant. Very welcoming. It seems as though they invite us to the family feast. Other guests are also quite vibrant. You see smiles, hear laughters, and enjoy their company over very tasty food. Wine selection is very nice too. We started off nice salad followed by lamb and duck. Great tasting in particular with nice glass of... More

I don't know why this restaurant isn't number 1 in Brisbane, but I am secretly happy it isn't otherwise it I fear it would loose that element us locals love so much about it. This is the place to come if you want heartwarming food, that is consistently excellent and good for the soul. Think intimate birthday celebrations, a dinner... More

Continental has a wonderful reputation, and with good reason. The food is always amazing, the chefs are capable and talented, and the service is spot on. Sometimes my partner and I go there just for the sticky date pudding, it makes for a great date night. The wine selection is also lovely. It's not cheap but it is always worth... More
