Our favourite Yum Cha

Been going to King of Kings for Yum Cha for many years. The food has got better the last couple of times we visited. I was almost ready to give it a miss. The selection of hot and cold food is very good. I love the pork buns, calamari, prawn dumplings, gyozas and dim sims. Gotta have the hot... read more

Have dined here many times when in the Valley & always, the food is good - and such a variety. Sometimes you have to queue - but it's worth the wait. Real chinese food and staff.

My family eat here often. Cheap and cheerful and fun. Great selection. Nice staff. Can get busy. Great mango pancakes and custard tarts

Had dinner and ordered from the late night dim sum menu. All I can say is it's terrible.

Food tasted fresh and trolleys coming around frequently so you wont go hundry. Very popular with locals and good value.

I have been to this restaurant 2 times and 100% of the time it was a complete disaster! The service is so terrible that it becomes embarrassing. I understand this is a Chinese restaurant but I don't think it is a high expectation to be able to converse with the wait staff and they understand basic questions like 'Does this... More

Located in Brisbane's ChinaTown Mall and a main attraction of this location. Several other Brisbane Chinese restaurants claim to provide Yum Cha (I think this kind of eating is called Dim Sum by USA folk) but you have to order off a menu. This is the full experience, where they wheel around trolleys of various delicacies and you select from... More

Great prices and great variety. You can wait for goodies to come by in the carts or you can special order from a menu and have it brought to your table. I've had meals there with just my husband, but have also brought family, including young nieces and nephews and we always walk about happy with a full stomach. The... More

And boy do I love King of Kings. Returned after a couple of years since last time. I didn't recognise any of the staff or management, so they may have changed. But the food is still outstanding! All the usual offerings, all cooked with care and innovation. Another satisfying meal at King of Kings.
