At last, great Yum Cha

We had been looking around for a great Yum Cha restaurant since moving from Sydney. Friends rated King of Kings highly so we thought we would give it a go. We were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, and the trolleys came frequently so we were never left wanting. Prices were good too. Highly... read more

I try to find authentic Chinese restaurant. That often means, restaurants frequent by Chinese people. This restaurant was 90% Aussies. Food reflected the clientele. Half of the food that came out was deep fried. It did have prawn dumpings, shu mai pork dumplings and half a dozen other streamed dumplings but that was about it. Don't expect to see authentic... Dumplings were hard to eat the outer was like eating rubber. Service was slow and for the amount of people that we had there not enough food was provided. I myself wouldn't go back again but my partner did like the duck that was the only thing he enjoyed.

This was our first visit and we were very pleased with the result. Both the food and the service were first rate. The ambience was good and staff very helpful.

Every time I go to Brisbane I used to look forward to Yum Cha at the King of Kings in the Valley. But after last week I will not be going back. One small trolley with very little choice pushed around by a bored young employee, the food was cold and and about twenty minutes between trolley circuits. Eventually we... More

I've been coming here since I was a child. There is a huge range of seafood and authentic Chinese food. Each menu item is cooked fresh, genuine Chinese cuisine, and scrumptious. I recommend all of their noodles, pork buns and chicken satay. They're open great hours, which is incredibly convenient after a good night out, before a good night out,... More

Have been here a few time times. The food is good but the staff are not as friendly as other places and sometimes you have to wait for some time to get what you ordered or want. Its ok.

Pace yourself.... different dishes come out at different times and you dont wanna miss anything. Good selection, all taste great. Gets crazy busy weekends, but worth the visit. Not cheap eats as such as the dishes rack up pretty fast.

We made the rookie mistake of accepting the offerings we likes the look of only to be stuffed full when the awesome things came out like roast duck and egg tarts!
