Excellent service

We went there for Mother's Day dinner and absolutely enjoyed it. Plenty of fresh seafood, cold & hot food. If you are not a seafood lover, don't worry they also have hot roast meat and other variety of hot & cold meat dishes. Dessert, tea & coffee are included as well. Go there, enjoy it & have a good time!

On the whole the buffet was very good but had a couple of disappointments. The Baklava was soggy and had no nice crispy filo and the Paella was more like a wet risotto... More

I decided to eat at Thyme 2 for the second time. This restaurant would have to be the best in Brisbane. The chefs, food and service are 5 star. The maitre d' is exceptional with his professionalism and friendliness. The exotic middle eastern cuisine is delicious. The restaurant is very busy on a Wednesday so a booking is essential.

My wife and I had dinner at this hotel restaurant at about 9 PM one evening. Notwithstanding the fact that it was $35 each for a hamburger our waiter disappeared completely and eventually we walked to the host desk to pay our bill. We were not overly impressed.

My daughter (16) saved hard to treat her mum a Mothers Day 'high tea'. She chose Sofitel (5 Star - more on that later!). Initially she wanted to treat her mother THE BEST she could find. BUT to get her mother AND herself included, she (age 16) had to pay for the 'Premium Package - $85 or so EACH -... More

Not overly impressed with the buffet - May 3rd a Sunday night. Oysters were good. Smoked salmon was ok and the salads left a bit to be desired - as we there later in the evening - not a lot got freshened up. Taken to our seats given a water glass and waited and waited - no water jug came... More

Took wife to restaurant for meeting anniversary. She likes Moreton Bay bugs, so we have visited a few times. In the past I had considered it reasonable, but not great, value for money. On previous occasions there had been a piano bar operating, and a singer. The staff on these occasions had been helpful. On this trip, in February, 2015,... More

Went there last night (a Saturday night) to celebrate a 50th birthday. Buffet was priced at $98 per person - Overpriced! Wine list - nothing under $50 per bottle - Overpriced! Table was crammed against the wall with 11 of us trying to sit around it. Table service very poor - wait staff had to be asked to bring the... More

So I love my buffets, especially seafood ones and Bazaar at QT Hotel GC had been my top pick for Briz/GC area however recently trying the buffet at Sofitel I have to admit I was happily surprised and super content with the food and service. I had 3 plates of seafood because the oysters and bugs were so damn fresh... More
