Great value for such good food

This place is a little bit out of the way and parking is dreadful, but certainly worth the effort. There is a large shopping centre just down the road with plenty of parking which would be fine if not raining. We sat outside on a cold rainy night, but the area was protected and had gas heaters, so... read more

Good food, very good sushi and a nice selection of Japanese beers, the sashimi plate was average, but everything else made up for it.

I know this is a big statement to make, but seriously you need to go visit these guys! I've been going to visit Eric and the crew for many, many years and the food is always, and I mean always amazing! All dishes are prepared as ordered; rather than watching your potential meal travel past you several times.... The best... More

Dined with friends at the Oishii Sushi Bar. It was a busy night so service wasn't great but as the food were freshly prepared with care and consistency I understood it took a bit longer. The staff were friendly and had no issues there - although it would've been a good idea to inform patrons which items were sold out... More

This place was constantly recommended to me by friends. They all said that it was the best sushi and they were definitely right!! Amazing sushi, best I have ever eaten!! Some say that it is pricey, but that is in comparison to the $3 plates at some sushi bars. The sushi started from $7 and the servings were huge!! Service... More

I have been in the area for almost 20 years and only recently had Oishii recommended to me. So glad it was! The food is great and just as importantly, the service is energetic and polite. Those saying it's pricey are likely used to paying $3.50 for a small plate of cucumber rolls. This place is great, reasonably priced and... More

Best sushi in brisbane by a long way. Shocked people are saying its over priced. Its very affordable. Could have a nicer location but then youd be paying an arm and a leg. Overall a great casual dining experience. Must try.

I've been to this place many times and was very surprised at the reviews saying it was over-priced. The food is beautifully presented and tastes equally amazing. It is about the same price as a normal sushi train style restaurant but with far superior taste. We live on the northside and still make our way down there every few months... More

We've been here a few times, both during the week and on the weekends. The place gets quite packed and you might want to book early, as parking can be problematic. Not enough spots for diners visiting the several restaurants there. Food is always good, my favourite is definitely the spider roll (soft shell crab sushi), absolutely delicious. Another great... The food is good, but the prices are riduculously overpriced for what you get. You could eat better for the price.
