not gluten free friendly!

Have eaten at the Breakfast creek hotel on many occasions, and now find myself dreading it every time I am invited. The food takes a very long time to order, and comes out nothing above average. Hardly any gluten free options which is a major no-go for those with ceoliacs disease. If you want... read more

I have dined several times on a Sunday for a steak lunch. When your steak comes up it will have a stick in it stating how you wished it to be cooked (Rare Medium Well), and it will be cooked just how you want it. The hotel is always very busy, so this would not happen if the service or... More

Fantastic food, great service and atmosphere. I would be remiss if i did not mention the range of mouth watering steaks that are simply to die for. If you are a serious meat eater then this is the place for you. Enjoy your meal accompanied with a fine wine from there impressive cellar range. Caters very well for large groups... More

This pub is historical with the original building still as it was, a public bar. The rest of the area is filled with up market dining areas and bars, a must for that drink and catch up with friends. They are renown for their steaks and no one should go there without ordering one. I highly recommend this hotel for... More

Group of 6 of us went here for lunch. All agreed that this was expensive steak and chips. The steaks were very good but the spoonful of coleslaw, bread roll and few chips were ordinary. All this for $41 for a main course!! Not good value for money. None of us will go back which is a pity as its... More

Everyone in Brisbane knows the famous "Brekky Creek" and this is why = you will get the best steaks in town and a great atmosphere. It is not the cheapest meal there is but you will come away commenting on the high quality of the meat and accompaniments. It is very central and easy to access with good parking if... More

It's amazing how expensive the food is here for the quality and the fact you have to serve yourself. A dry steak, coleslaw, potato and bun. Like going to a BBQ that you walk out paying around $40 for not including drinks. I would love this as my local, however the price is a massive turn off and the mess... More

My son and his partner Patrick took me to the Breakfast Creek Hotel for dinner for my birthday. Being a lover of the TBone Steak I can honestly tell you that it was the best I have ever had and was so big I had trouble get through it. Anyone who is a lover of a good steak no matter... More

Having returned to Brisbane 14yrs ago, I'd never been to the Breakie Creek until a friend arranged a catchup. We happened to go the night the socceroos won the Asian cup, there were a lot of people there but it didn't seem crowded. Meals were a little expensive but were fantastic so I didn't mind the cost. I'm not a... More
