Pretty good food, not as good as 6 years ago, but decent prices and nice staff might just see this place go back to its former glory

Just dropped in for some Al Fresco Dinning. The place looked inviting and vibrant. It promised Greek cuisine. I could imagine I was in Greece. I was thinking fresh pasta olives calamari. I was right. First up my eye was caught by a bottle of Retsina Tsantali. This did not disappoint. Just perfect for light Mediterranean flavours. I ordered a... More

My sister and I celebrated the close of NAIDOC with a greek feast. We ordered the platter for two seriously enough food for three. We took home leftovers. The service is friendly and the food is divine. Their house wine was like nectar from the Gods. We are definitely going back.

Service is efficient and friendly. This is a casual Greek tavern with tables out to the pavement and a "local" ambience. The menu is quite extensive with all the typical Greek dishes and mezes. The wine list is limited but reasonably priced. I ordered whitebait which may have been prepared the day before as it was stale and tasteless. The... More

Outdoor dining with a large group of family & friends, under a gas burner. Friendly, prompt service. We shared each of the platters- quite tasty and plenty of food. Enjoyed the Mythos beer- however the live music was a little loud.

Had a meal for two during lunch time Thursday. Restaurant was about 10% full, the lunch crowd were cramming into the establishment next door. Asked for some seafood entrees and seafood pasta for mains. It was acceptable, with the kitchen obliging my request for a different sauce for my pasta. The pasta was overcooked, but the sauce soaked up the... More

I would love to see some actual greek faces in this restaurant, just as much as I don't want dutch people running and staffing a Nepalese restaurant!! with Jordanian staff?? Yes it does matter and this is for a very good reason... authenticity!!! I noticed indian staff, asian staff all of which would know about as much about greek culture... More

Enjoyed it a something different not being experienced in Greek cuisine. Found it to be similar to Turkish/Lebanese food with the meat skewers dominating some platter selections although a good variety otherwise available. West End overall is a foodie place and priced accordingly as it attracts the crowds. It appears that parking nearby can be a problem so worthwhile giving... More

There were two of us and the Ouzeri Platter was too much food. It is rare for me to leave food uneaten when it tastes so good, but there is so much food on the Ouzeri Platter that this is what happened. Chicken, lamb, pork, octopus, delicately fried calamari, dips, haloumi and pita were piled high. All the meat was... More
