Had lunch at Sono recently and ordered a couple of there lunch sets. Prices are a bit on the expensive side but quality is good. Service is ok as the restaurant is busy and have to wait a while to get attention. Probably one of the better sushi places in Brisbane.

Of course the quality of the seafood around here should be great, but then it's turned over to careful chefs and arrives at the table as mini tableaux of Japanese perfection. Smart flavours, stunning presentation, gorgeously friendly staff and actually, for the amount of care invested, pretty great value too.

We sat down to the Sono set lunch menu and were not disappointed - as the usual attention to service and detail was kept at their top standard and the timely arrival of the food perfectly presented and cooked to perfection impressed the people we had invited to lunch. Its a sure winner if you like Japanese food and very... More

Scrumptious food, brilliant service and affordable - less than $50 per person. I return whenever I can.

My top favorite Japanese restaurant in Brisbane. The quality here is amazingly consistent, as every time I visited here never a single time I got disappointed. Even thought the price is a little bit expensive but considering the top-notch quality and the freshness of the sushi here, it totally worth it. The teriyaki dishes are always my cup of tea,... Probably my favourite Brisbane restaurant, prices aren't too bad considering the venue and what you get in terms of food portions and quality. Never had an issue with anything here. On my list for a 'go to' place for special occasions. If I had to nitpick, the desserts are not my favourite compared to other restaurants at the same level,... More

Amazing food here. The service was a also fantastic. The restaurant is in a great area too. Only thing is it is a little bit expensive. But for quality, you got to pay the price.

Every now and again I will be craving for Sono. I've tried their sushi, fresh and yummy. Their teppanyaki, amazing taste, friendly chef. Their well balanced ala carte, something for everybody. This visit had their 4 dishes lunch set. Superb value for money. Again, delicious and satisfying. Will be back again.

Food presented in such a way that it excited all the senses! A simple plate of oysters comes looking as though it's from another galaxy! Sushimi as fresh and scrumptious as cannot be ever compared. The variety of Sake leaves the Australian diner curious as to which one to order. A wonderful dining experience.
