A perfect place for brunch

This cafe is one of our regular brunch spots. The coffee and meals are always excellent, and service is great (I think the owner is also working there often). They are happy to allow dogs outside, which is sometimes an issue at Oxford street cafes. The zucchini fritters are amazing!

Went there today for the first time while waiting for a movie. Service was extremely poor. We sat down, they took AGES to acknowledge us and come and clean the plates from the previous customers. Barely wiped down the table. Took forever to bring a menu out to us. We ordered some drinks which took over 30 minutes to come... More

Stopped by for breakfast with friends. It was a busy weekend morning and staff were VERY slow to take orders. Waitress wasn't terribly friendly and seemed rather disinterested. The food portions for breakfast was ok. I expected a little more as the salmon benedict was a little on the small side for me. Spinach well sauteed, salmon ok. Good flavours,... More

we love coming here just before going to the movies. Great delicious tapas! Very affordable. Service is a little ho hum but OK. You can't have it all at this price. It's certainly not smart or posh but the food is really great. Probably one of the best value places we know!

Had breakfast here a few weeks ago. It was standard fare, pleasant enough with, as always with most cafes, limited options for the bread avoider. The coffee was average. My companion had to ask for an extra shot. The service was good and the position allows you to watch the world go by on Oxford Street. I would go back... More

My partner and I have been coming here for the last few years, mostly for brunch on the weekends but also for the occasional night out. This place is a gem. I came here for my birthday a couple of weeks ago for a romantic dinner and it was excellent. The food is always creative and delicious and the staff... More

My wife and I recently had afternoon tea after watching a movie at the Oxford Street cinemas. The service was excellent but the cake cabinet did not seem to cater for patrons who prefer healthier options. We all love cheesecakes and mudcakes but not everyone is able to eat them and get away with it these days. Coffee was good.... More

The staff and owner are repeatedly rude. This is not the first time I have frequented this cafe hoping that time, circumstance and happier times. Unfortunately I want to think well of yhis cafe but its rudeness and bluntness of customer service explains itself. They do not even know what a "RISTRETTO" shot is and they dare call themselves a... We had our first meal at this Cafe in 1990. Although it has now changed hands, we still believe it to be top value. Today we had the Tapas menu which we could choose individual dishes. there was more than adequate food and the two of us dined for $72. This included a good bottle of Sav Blanc (Marlborough) The...
