My wife and I recently had afternoon tea after watching a movie at the Oxford Street cinemas. The service was excellent but the cake cabinet did not seem to cater for patrons who prefer healthier options. We all love cheesecakes and mudcakes but not everyone is able to eat them and get away with it these days. Coffee was good.... More

The staff and owner are repeatedly rude. This is not the first time I have frequented this cafe hoping that time, circumstance and happier times. Unfortunately I want to think well of yhis cafe but its rudeness and bluntness of customer service explains itself. They do not even know what a "RISTRETTO" shot is and they dare call themselves a... We had our first meal at this Cafe in 1990. Although it has now changed hands, we still believe it to be top value. Today we had the Tapas menu which we could choose individual dishes. there was more than adequate food and the two of us dined for $72. This included a good bottle of Sav Blanc (Marlborough) The... Dined here the other week with a couple of friends. I will admit that this is one of our favourite restaurants in Bulimba. As usual it didn’t let us down. We dined on a Wednesday for the Roast Beef special, unfortunately they had already run out of the beef but the replacement was a nice juicy steak, as usual cooked... More

We go at least weekly and love the tapas and trio of oysters. Best tapas in Oxford St. Service is polite and welcoming. Friday night is Spanish guitarist night. Very good indeed. And it's BYO.

The meals are good there and it is good to sit outside and watch the passing parade. But many of the deserts are made in house. have a small main and save space for deserts

We have been going to Cinema Cafe for years now and it never disappoints - the best restaurant on Oxford Street. You can always expect a good honest meal there - always full of flavour and fresh ingredients. The service is always spot on, attentive, quick and personable. Their soup of the day is always divine, changing frequently but always... More

I have eaten at the Cinema Cafe quite a few times and the food is always good and the service friendly and efficient. I took my partner (fussy foodie) there and even he said it was the best Wagua burger he has had. I'm a vegetarian and there is always something yummy for me too choose from which is not... More

Although we had visited this cafe some time ago, enjoyed it and gave it a high rating, last Sunday morning was a disaster. It was busy but after waiting for over 45 minutes for our breakfast with no apology, and with our family and their two toddlers, we called it a day. When we asked if our meal would be... More

We LOVE this place!!! Their oyster trio is to die for, and all day breakfast comes in handy on Sunday afternoons. Breakfast lunch or dinner we have yet to be disappointed!
