Greek style dinner

We have been to this cafe many times before and loved it. Last week we tried the new Greek dinner menu. While the food was excellent, the staff all seemed to be new and were not familiar with the menu. We asked to order a salad with our meat platter, but were not told that the meat platter included... read more

It was a pleasure to take our friends visiting from overseas to dinner at the Cinema Café. We haven't been since they changed to the new Greek Menu, and we most certainly were not disappointed!! Two of us ordered the Lamb Cutlets, my partner the Veal and girlfriend the Chicken Souvlaki wraps. The food and I must say their was... More

Service is great but the price for what you pay is over the top, there are plenty of other places in Oxford Street to have the same fare for a reasonable price.

My husband and our friends chose to eat at Cinema cafe for lunch midweek after the movies. We weren't disappointed. We had the trio of seafood, the fish and the seafood souvlaki. It was all very fresh and invitingly presented. The flavours were mediterranean and very tasty they were too. Staff were very efficient and attentive

This restaurant is now Greek food and I have not enjoyed a meal more in a long time. We had the shared plate for 2 and everything was delicious, plenty of food and all cooked to perfection. Price is very reasonable and I would highly recommend this restaurant for both the food, service and excellent wine.

Went there today for the first time while waiting for a movie. Service was extremely poor. We sat down, they took AGES to acknowledge us and come and clean the plates from the previous customers. Barely wiped down the table. Took forever to bring a menu out to us. We ordered some drinks which took over 30 minutes to come... More

This cafe is one of our regular brunch spots. The coffee and meals are always excellent, and service is great (I think the owner is also working there often). They are happy to allow dogs outside, which is sometimes an issue at Oxford street cafes. The zucchini fritters are amazing!

Stopped by for breakfast with friends. It was a busy weekend morning and staff were VERY slow to take orders. Waitress wasn't terribly friendly and seemed rather disinterested. The food portions for breakfast was ok. I expected a little more as the salmon benedict was a little on the small side for me. Spinach well sauteed, salmon ok. Good flavours,... More

we love coming here just before going to the movies. Great delicious tapas! Very affordable. Service is a little ho hum but OK. You can't have it all at this price. It's certainly not smart or posh but the food is really great. Probably one of the best value places we know!
