Brekky here with my family. A great, quirky little cafe, with plenty to look at on the walls after you have chosen a little nook to sit in. Great selection of food - plenty of choice for the fussy eaters. Coffee was great, service good. Yep, definitely a quiet achiever here!

Went there on the recommendation from a friend. You won,t get bacon and eggs here but don't let that stop you checking it out. Explore the little alcoves inside then go order yourself a tea or coffee and try your hardest to make a selection from the large display of quality cakes etc. Coffee is very good and I do... More

This is a lovely little place with a lot of nooks and crannies where you can sit. They don't take bookings you just rock up and find a seat. The decor is very different and very interesting. Its cosy and comfortable. The prices are well worth the meals that you get. The atmosphere is always buzzing and they are well... More

Living in Brisbane, where on a Sunday the vast majority of businesses are shut before dark, it was absolutely wonderful to be able to get a nice, well made coffee at 9pm. Good cafés open late in Brisbane are few and far between. I indulged myself in a cake; it was pleasant and around $5, I thought this was quite... More

This one of my favorite coffee shops. I have been coming here for over 15 years and what I like about Three Monkeys is the service, the decor and the clientele. The crowd is your university kind, bit alternative and different rather than mainstream. The other thing I like is the fact that its not over priced, I feel that... More

I visited with a group of friends for post-dinner cake/coffee. The best thing about this place is its atmosphere. It has such a great vibe. The interior is so different and intriguing, I felt like a was in Spain or South America. Although it was a very busy night our food came quickly and it was delicious. Will definitely be... More

I love having a bowl of coffee or hot chocolate on a cold night here. Good location although it can be hard to get a seat for a small group or at busy times. The card minimum when paying can be annoying at times depending what you want. The variety of cakes, slices and pies are always changing and forever... More

Always eager to find any excuse to have a coffee at The Three Monkeys. A friend from Singapore visited earlier this month and he surprised me by asking if we could go there - The Three Monkeys fame has spread abroad. Thoroughly enjoyed the ambience - each table setting was different. The Edith Piaf - coffee in a bowl -... More

Best cake found in Australia so far,and they've got a large. Even if it's a bit expensive it is worth it. and what a great looking place with all the decorations!

I have frequented The Three Monkeys Coffee & Tea-house in West End, since I moved here to the big smoke of Brisbane a little over a decade ago. It is a Brisbane institution and a must-visit. A decor that reflects Mediterranean and East-Asian influences. Lots of decorative pieces inside add to the character, as well as Memorabilia from its famous... More
