Great quirky atmopshere and coffee

Used to come here regularly many years ago when I lived nearby, now on northside dont get there much but well worth the visit, good prices, generous portions of cake and delicious. Great atmopshere, it can get busy though we were there Sunday afternoon around 3.30. A nice old favourite that I can... read more

Love the edgy deco inside. Plenty of seating area. It's kinda rainforest environment inside. Yummy cakes and great coffees. Can't complain more. Good spot for chilling out and catching up with friends over coffee.

The apple pie was very tasty and I really liked that there were gluten and dairy free choices for my friend. Service was fast and friendly and prices were reasonable. The big surprise was just how big this place is. I was amazed at how far back it went and the garden area is lovely. Decorated in an ethnic vibe... More

We just finished the Mount Coo-Tha hike and we're looking for a coffee place where we could be comfortable, relax, catch up on emails before our afternoon flight and found the Three Monkeys Coffee and Tea house. It may seem a bit far away from the Coo-Tha lookout but it well worth the detour. Calm music, green surroundings, comfortable seating... More

An interesting place for either coffee and nibblies or a meal. The food isn't the main drawcard, it's the atmosphere of the place. There are chess boards and other games there to play, magazines -it's as though you dropped by a friend's place to chat. Indoor and outdoor, cosy and quirky. A bit bohemian.

My girlfriend and I visited here because she used to hang out here as a teenager - it's just gorgeous. Amazing cakes and beautiful intimate interior. I'd be here all the time if I lived in Brisbane!!!

This is where to go if you want a "different experience" - but be prepared to wait a while for your coffee or meal to come if they are busy. As I say, its more about the experience. The cafe consists of several small dimly lit rooms with one large sun filled courtyard right at the back. They were extremely... More

Had a lovely mid-week afternoon tea at Three Monkeys. The Chai Tea served in quirky bowls is certainly worth leaving home for! The ambiance is delightful and the service very good. Will certainly be returning for a breakfast, lunch or dinner with another bowl of their delicious Chai Tea.

I had high hopes for this establishment and soon after entering they were gone. There was a table of about 8 of us and we all ordered separately at the counter. I was first to order and hence my raisin toast came out first. After about 20-30min another girl at our table still hadn't received her raisin toast so we... More
