Staying at the hotel and I get 50% discount on dinners and I am tired at the end of my working days so I don't like venturing far. The breakfasts were great. The dinners were okay. Salads need some freshening up. Meals a re cooked reasonably well but there is something missing. It may be the orange and green plates... More

Nothing amazing here - pretty much a pub style meal (Pizzas, wedges etc). The place was very busy when we arrived and we were told there was a 35-40 min wait for our meals straight up. We had to eat - so were happy to wait. Atmosphere is nothing amazing - just a long noisy room with a bar one... More

Last night's visit to CBD will be my last due to a combination of nonexistent service and very ordinary food. I was pretty uninspired by the menu so I chose the lamb shoulder accompanied by a Greek salad. My sister-in-law would also have chosen this dish but we were informed that there was only one left despite it being only... More

We ordered from the room service menu and a delicious pizza was delivered quickly and easily to our room.

We had a pre-show dinner here as part of our "showstopper" accommodation package staying at Rydges. As our show started at 7.30pm we reserved a table for 5.30. It was not too crowded when we arrived and service was very good. My husband had Chicken tikka masala and I had Tempura flathead with chips. The servings were a good size... More

This is at the front of Rydges. Great spot, great atmosphere here for eating or just a drink. Morning coffee is worth it.

We had drinks and snacks here before the concert at the Convention Centre next door. Pizzawas excellent. Salt and pepper squid was hot and tender but I think 'bought in' it had a very salty 'processed' coating. The portions were huge and the food was hot. Service was okay. We had breakfast there the following morning, which was a different... More

Great location if staying in Rydges at Southbank. Rib fillet cooked to perfection with very small potato bake stack and green salad. Little touch..oil/balsamic accompaniment in small bottle. Typical pub food but quick service from kitchen and bar/ wait staff.

If you wanna get your drinks fast, you better go to the counter and get it by yourself. This has got customers from the Rydges and outsides. So the bar can get crowded at times.

I went to this cafe on Sunday for lunch with my Husband & Grandaughter. We were going to the Lyric Theatre for the afternoon matinee so thought it would be nice to go here for a bite to eat as it was quieter than the other restaurants along Gray St. I ordered chicken nuggets & chips from the children's menu...
