This is one of my favourite sushi places in the city. I've had countless sushi rolls from the cheery folk who run the place and I've never been disappointed. There's a big selection of other Japanese food as well, and you can get an Asahi beer to complement the fresh flavours if you fine in.

I needed a quick meal and didnt feel like dining out. In the mood for Japanese I found Tsuru and ordered sushi and some karrage chicken to take away back to the hotel. WOW! I was impressed. The taste quality was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I'll come back to this place!!

We regularly lunch at Tsuru and they certainly live up to their description. Sushi for those in a hurry, a la carte for those with a little more time. Indoor and outdoor dining under the trees in the street scape makes the most of mild Brisbane weather. The food is excellent and the coffee is even better.

Food was excellent. Fresh, tasty and well presented. Service was friendly and efficient. The cafe style restaurant was clean, attractive and had a nice atmosphere. A thoroughly pleasant meal.

This restaurant is very small and looks like a small take-away restaurant. But the food was surprisingly tasty with fresh ingredients . My favorite was the grilled chicken salad (can't remember the exact name) . The grilled chicken and fresh salad with refreshing Japanese ponse sauce ( something like that) was so tasty, I went back to the restaurant several... More

Wow, Tsuru is a little gem in the West End. I've been there for lunch a couple times and had very good soft crab rolls but had never sat down for a meal. Recently I had dinner there with some friends and the menu was excellent and the food is awesome - it is fresh, homemade recipes that leave you... More

I have eaten several times at Tsuru in West End and each time left with a smile on my face. Last Friday lunchtime, dining with a friend and business associate, I asked the owner Hayden to surprise us and bring us what he thought we would like..... Not something I would have confidence to do in very many places. What... More
