Great Again

We had eaten here a while ago now with some friends, they suggested we go again before this year’s ‘Entertainment Book’ had finished, remembering how good it was, we decided to go again. Went to a sponsored wine dinner at Malt Dining recently. The wine aside; the service and quality of the food was very good - I will definitely be back to get a feel for this venue some time soon as a full al a carte dining experience. Saw and tasted enough to be excited about what this restaurant has to... More

Malt dining is on my top 3 of restaurants in CBD. It's good for client dinner, for romantic dinner, for family or anything. But personally, I keep this for special occasion - to treat myself very well with great dishes of food. They cook protein right with seasoning just right for my liking.

We booked. We came. And we were disappointed at the lack of choices of unavailable menu items. Two of our choices were unavailable on the night leaving us underwhelmed at the rave reviews this establishment receives. Our second choices were fine, the wait staff attentive and helpful with wine selections. The over attentiveness to describing all of the food on... More

Very little wrong with this restaurant. Nice ambiance - elegant and soft lighting. Service good and food excellent. Prices are high but as expected for this level of dining. Would say you get your moneys worth. Wine list short but imaginative. Would dine there again.

We enjoyed a beautiful meal at Malt! An extensive wine and spirits list complemented a superb meal. The menu selection may appear limited in terms of numbers of options, however all vegetarian options can be ordered as mains and mains list offers a great variety of white and red meats prepared up perfection. A gorgeous raspberry soufflé topped off an... More

I too had breakfast at the newly opened Malt Pier. The baked eggs were delicious. Its a stylish and welcomed addition to the restaurants in the area.

This was the second time back to Malt, based upon the first visit to the restaurant we'd thought we go again for our second anniversary and low and behold, Malt didn't disappoint! Still the best meal that I've eaten in Brisbane, it's so far underrated compared with the likes of Jellyfish and Alchemy in Brisbane. There's not a great deal... More
