Description: Malt is a luxury three level food, wine and dining experience located at 28 Market Street, Brisbane.Malt is a venue that is intimate, unique and functional, while generating an edge that compliments the building's raw appeal. My wife and I booked a table for our second wedding anniversary via the website as we were flying home from Auckland. They responded and confirmed our booking via email. Our waitress was friendly, professional and very knowledgable about the menu considering she had only been there a week or so. We ordered the oysters and wasabi gel, pan seared... More

This is probably the 5th time we have visited Malt and on each occasion we are equally impressed. The location is just across the road from the hustle and bustle of the Eagle Street restaurant strip but seems a world away. The premises are welcoming and well decorated in that rustic sense. The staff are always very professional in a... More

A narrow two story building with a wine bar at ground level & dinning on the 1 st floor. The meals were quite small for a medium price

We arrived at our allocated time to be told very apologetically that our table wasn't free yet, so we went downstairs and ordered a cocktail. To be honest, it was an all too rare get together of my best girlfriends, so this didn't bother us too much as it gave us more time to chat. A couple of us still... More

Good reviews led us to this restaurant, and it is certainly popular. This was a Friday night and the place was heaving with drinkers. Battled our way through looking for the tables. Upstairs was quiet thank goodness. Very good welcome and quick production of menu. Unfortunately it was rather pretentious rather than fine dining. In fact the phrase 'fine dining'... More

Set back from the name restaurants along the Brisbane river, this is a smaller more intimate restaurant........but don't fear the quality of the food and the service - both are excellent! From the greeting at the bar downstairs for pre dinner drinks, to the personalised card on the table wishing us a happy anniversary, it's those little things that make... More

This a great restaurant, located in Market St just a short walk from Eagle St Pier. Downstairs is a small popular bar and upstairs is the restaurant. Great food and service is very good too. Take your friends, it has a great atmosphere. Bad Cats of Brissy

We dined here for lunch and the food and service was very good but not exceptional as many reviews had led me to believe. Having said that we all enjoyed our lunch and the price was reasonable

the dark dining room and great decor add atmosphere to the superb food and drink at this inner city eatery. The bar downstairs is also worth a visit

Excellent lunch, although not a very large restaurant. Great service, and very friendly, they explained each course as it arrived. I had grilled barra, with moreton bay bug as main course. Probably the best tasting combo I have had. Not a large serving but certianly sufficient.
